Piece by piece the picture becomes a little clearer.

- They connect on Tinder, meet in Cavill around 9pm
- Both go back to Tostee's and have a drink and a chat on the balcony
- Around 2am Tostee allegedly assaults Rrie. An argument occurs
- Rrie tries to leave and chooses the balcony as her escape route. She screams as he allegedly chases her, and then falls to her death
- Tostee grabs his phones and her phone and heads for the lift. He'd be counting on nobody knowing where Rrie fell from, or who she'd come to visit
- In the foyer he hides behind a pillar to avoid detection
- Possibly noticing the police headed up the lift, he paces trying to work out what to do next
- Tostee heads down to the car park, rings a mate to come pick him up, puts his and Rrie's phones in his car and flees out a fire escape, setting off the fire alarm
- Hot tails it to Orchid Ave, where his lift takes him to his folks place
- Checks the news in the morning, realises the police know Rrie fell from his balcony, lawyers up and visits the police at around 11am to exercise his right to silence
- Police find phones in car and recordings
- Tostee arrested

Let me share an experience with you all that I had In a building around the corner from the accused here.

I lived on the Gold coast for 15years when I was a younger and was involved in the night club scene. One night I had been out trawling the bars and having a good time and looking for some female company for the night when I eventually hooked up with girl late around 3am, by this time we had both drunk a fair amount and even then I could sense there was something odd about her but couldn't put my finger on it, however she was a willing "participant" so we set off back to my condo for drinks on the balcony overlooking the Ocean, when one thing led to another..

THE EVENT

Having woke up in the morning I was alone and initially my first thought was great, she left for home early. As I got up I trod on a high heel shoe and after opening the curtains saw more cloths on the floor and realized that obviously she was still here. Walking into the kitchen I saw her handbag on the table so I knocked on the bathroom door and no answer and that's when the confusion and slight panic set in.

Lets see... all her cloths were on the floor and her hand bag was there but she was missing!! being on the 15th floor I immediately thought she had jumped off the balcony, in fact I was sure of it because where else would she be naked?? Freeking out I got the lift downstairs but couldn't see because the base was landscaped with heavy shrubbery. After having crawled around the base under my balcony I was relieved beyond words that there was no body so headed back upstairs to take stock of the situation. Nothing made sense so I immediately called the cops to tell them there is a missing female without any clothes somewhere on the streets of the Gold Coast !

Long story short I went to work and got a phone call from a detective a few hours later to inform me that a female walked into the police station to make a complaint against me. According to her I 'drugged and then tried to sexually assault her". WOW just WOW and I got that horrible sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, this cant be happening!

I asked the detective did he believe her and immediately he said no he didn't because according to him she was way to alert to have been drugged. Hung over and drugged on rape drugs are very different, also why did she get undressed if she was not willing?. According to her she left in the middle of the night/morning "naked" and knocked on the door downstairs where a bunch of guys were drinking on the balcony below and they took her in. I was asked to attend the station to make a statement and return her belongings.

I was very grateful the detective was on my side 100% as I am a descent person who would never do anything like that and I wouldn't even know where to find drugs like that nor would I want to or need to drug woman and assault them. So what happened? I still do not know but Im clear on what happened during the night at my house leading up to me waking up alone and there was no assault , if anything she was slightly aggressive

This is todays headline she apparently tried to climb down to the next balcony to escape this fellow and fell to her death and was not thrown! There are certain similarities between my event and this fellows and sometimes its not always what it seems to be . Thank god mine didn't jump but walked...for reasons best known to her self

But then I read other posts of his vitriol against women and it just took my breath away.

And then reading about his horrendous 'tactics' in the bars - drinking water all night and targeting the drunkest women - it all took my sympathy for him away.

He's a dangerous guy. No matter how much of an inadequate, needy loser he appears on the threads.......

As for 'roids, there seems to be fairly rampant usage in his general vicinity ifkwim. Plus: moobs & soggy waist. Claims it isn't gyno. I say "pfffft' to that. Note how he calls his doctor a 'dealer', also... and looks for drugs that combine well with alcohol. Prescription highs..

A witness who saw Wright fall from the balcony called police but, by the time officers arrived shortly afterwards, Tostee was gone.

Zoran, what a shame you had to meet someone like that. But - what Isis said, too much evidence of stuff happening against Warriena's will here.

That's the whole problem with this 'hooking up' thing -- there's a LOT of seriously unbalanced people out there. Then add alcohol and w/e recreational substances. So easy to end up with a raving loony in your home. Scary stuff.

Id like to know more about the reported gas leak in GT's apartment. Hopefully the police have info of where the call came from.

I also do agree with those who posted he may have used it as part of his escape plan

Three fire crews were also called to the unit following reports of a gas leak, but police later confirmed that it was a false alarm.

Holy carp, this just now occurred to my flu-raddled brain..... prescription drugs, ambien, temazepam, lala + alcohol = date rape drugs.

What if he slipped her a mickey and she came to, freaking out at 2am? Very feasible, and nothing I'd put past him for sure. Plus, the whole staying sober while stalking girls who are drinking thing. It just shouts 'rapey' to me.

I wonder if any other girls he hooked up with suffered 'blackouts' while in his home. Chalked up to too much vodka, w/e..

Escaping in the middle of the night naked sounds pretty desperate to me. The point was this girl was high on drugs and alcohol before going to my place. She had a some sort of hallucination that led her to believe she was being attacked.

As mentioned there are all sorts of odd balls out there. Im just sayin anything and any scenario is possible. Obviously if there is footage of him mauling this lady then its a shut case but we have to wait and see about that

They will allege Ms Wright and Tostee met in Cavill Mall about 9pm on August 7 after connecting on Tinder and went back to his apartment.

Witnesses told police they heard a man and woman arguing and the woman screaming &#8220;No, no, no&#8221; several times and &#8220;I just want to go home&#8221; just before she plummeted to her death.

Police will allege she was trying to climb to the balcony below to escape Tostee when she fell.

CCTV footage obtained by police allegedly shows Tostee in the building foyer soon after the tragedy.

Police will allege he hid behind a pillar as police surrounded Ms Wright&#8217;s body and can be seen pacing backwards and forwards.

He then allegedly got back into the lift, rode to the basement and left the building.

CCTV cameras allegedly recorded him carrying what appeared to be a phone. Police will allege they later found three mobile phones in a car in the Avalon basement.
