Zolpidem / stillnox, could be the knock out drug he was looking for in the BB forum discussions. It can bring about some unpredictable behaviour, make user have sex and seem awake, mixed with vodka, deadly. It sounds to me like there is another chemical in the conversation.

"am psycho drunk" "Further conversation about galaxies, travel to Alice Springs, religion and gods" "go vampire on his 🤬🤬🤬" 'this is Australia baby. I am ninja' and 'no, no

A little about stillnox

Many patients reported committing a wide variety of activities (many hazardous) whilst sleeping, and not having any recollection of them (e.g. driving a car, sexual relations, and jumping off a balcony have been reported). This lead the ATGA to put a black box warning on the medication

The tox results will be very interesting indeed.

In majority of cases it takes around 6 - 8 wks for the results.

Ah yes of course there was carpet - cheers elwyn5150 :blushing: I wonder if the loud bang was perhaps from the balcony or whether when he tacked Rrie he knocked over furniture in the process?

Another scenario:

GT is known (re: previous links) for gasbagging/taunting previous victims. He may have developed a plan prior to or that very night to really get this girl going and then laugh about it later. So he talks repeatedly about the balcony, dying after falling, being pushed, and/or jumping from the balcony. Then he antagonizes Rrie until she is beside herself with fear and rage, steals her phone, and keeps her from leaving, tackles her, and pushes her towards the balcony sliding door. If she is screaming "NO NO NO" while she is INSIDE the unit, because she already fears being pushed from the balcony due to previous conversation and the escalation in violence and antagonism, and then he pushes her out and locks her out there, while she begs to just go home and is completely terrified that he will actually end up coming out and pushing her off, in that scenario I can see her trying to escape over the edge.

I can not see her screaming NO NO NO if she is already outside and he has gone inside already. If she's screaming NO NO NO outside, he still physically has his hands on her OUTSIDE IMO.

I have to agree with you there Mariel Van Arkle - if someone had been assaulting and threatening me and they locked me out on the balcony after also saying they would throw me off...I would try to escape. You are cornered...you know if he comes outside you are in big trouble. I know though that 30 seconds is not that long to think through a considered decision so I would say terror, combined with being intoxicated with home made "alcohol" would definitely make someone try to escape...I also think most people would try to escape sober. I am torn though because I feel he might have been out there with her when she fell.

Hi Snoods!! Great to see you over here!!:loveyou:

:gday: Hiya Isis! :D

(Paraphrased) In this BB post GT talks about how nobody notices him when he walks around. He always looks at others to see if they are looking at him, but nope, he's invisible. This part really struck me: When out in public he specifically looks at small children "who are to small to know how to pretend to ignore him" and even they won't look at him.

Adults and small children don't eyeball him enough? Who notices this kind of thing? It just struck me as so odd. Could this be part of his OCD or ASD? Or is this just him being a weirdo.

Hello again all..finally made it to the end again...& my thoughts tonight has been whether he was on the balcony or not...

For the life of me, I can't understand why a relatively sober guy, which GT was, would shut Warriena out on the balcony? Did he want her to bang on the doors, beg to be let in. He knew that if he let her leave from the front door, he wouldn't see her again.

But I'm starting to lean to the idea he wasn't due to the statement made by a neighbour.

“I then moved to the corner of my balcony and tried to look up to see what was happening above me,’’ she said. “I could see a girl climbing over the balcony from the unit above us. All I could see of her was her legs. One minute she was above me and then the next she was in front of me and then she was on the ground down the bottom.

So, if that is correct it seems as thou Warriena unfortunately made a choice to climb over the balcony...not that it changes anything. I guess its been a curiosity & focus of mine...that balcony grrrhh..

RSBM BBM1 GT is heard asking about his money several times. Could he have locked her out on the balcony because he wanted to search through her purse to see if she had it? But why would a guy who claims to have had a wallet stolen before, leave a lot of money lying around? To trap her? Or was there never any money and he was just playing his part on the audio recording...

BBM2 I can't wait for the tox report. I think it will show more than alchohol. My guess is Zolpidem (generic Ambien) or some other mind-altering medication. And I think he gave it to her in her moonshine.

If tox comes back and it is revealed she was drugged with ambien, xanax or some other substance.... does that then make the murder case strong instead of weak?

  • #831
If he had drugged her, he would want to keep an eye on her till she sobers/comes to the next dayI think, rather than say letting her leave and she passes out in the lift or in the lobby, police and ambos are called, its traced back to him as having drugged and raped her. Just more thoughts....

 This is exactly what I think, Whatson.

So, in reference to Warriena saying in the transcript:

"Myjambu did not say anything" (which was said about the time she was looking for her phone)

A friend just pointed out to me that she could well be referring to a phone app called JAM-BU:

JAM-BU, a FREE mobile application that offers convenience in your hands! JAM-BU allows you to READ articles, CREATE and SHARE personalized QR Codes and SHOP online anywhere, anytime!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.threezquare.jambu&hl=en

Ahh, brilliant Isis! I'll bet you're right.

I just wanted to pay respects to Warriena, as her last evening is laid bare for the world to read

We are here in your memory, seeking justice. Blessings to you. :rose:

Thanks for posting this, Isis.

She's such a natural beauty. And her love and outspoken advocacy for animals at such a young age is admirable. Lots of people love animals but she actually walked the walk, even writing to Parliament appealing for tougher penalties for animal cruelty offenders. She had an amazing future.

Re the carpet: something "metallic" is heard falling.. if the place is carpeted, how is something 'metallic' identified by sound? It would be muffled, right? So I am wondering if it fell on some tiles - kitchen? Balcony?

Re the "money" references -- he has previously videoed a girl 'stealing his wallet'... Now I think he's accusing Rrie of taking money... Idk, I get the strong feeling that this is part of some weird little fantasy he's playing out -- him VS the "bad girl".

He so obviously sets Warriena up for it.

Another thing I don't get is why the father didn't just drive Tostee back to the parent's house. Why did they drive around finding somewhere to park?

Was the mother home from Adelaide and they didn't want to go back there to talk?

Another level of collusion is occurring here, between father and son - I'm just trying to get my head around why......

4.07-4.15am - The pair discuss where Dad will park the car. Gable says it should be stopped in a residential area and not a shopping centre because "they will do patrols".

4.15am - Gable: "I did turn on the voice recorder I think. Are you gunna like stop somewhere?"

Dad: "I'll stop here."

4.15am - The recording terminates.

I agree, there is something in that 'discussion' that is not released or recorded.

Perhaps ... we can't go home, the police will find you there, we need to talk to the lawyer first

The dad was pretty intent on them talking to the lawyer right away ... and Tostee's actions were to call the lawyer first, before eating pizza even.

Yeah .. that clattering of a metallic object is interesting isn't it? A defensive item? Handcuffs? On what surface?

GT - 2.16.30am
You are just going to walk out and I am going to slam the door on you. Do you understand?
If you try and pull anything.
Ill knock you out. Ill knock you out.
Do you understand? Do you understand? Do you understand?
2.17.30am C'mon get up -- Get up
Yes the witness saw legs dangling and said she saw her climbing but I am still not convinced that GT was not responsible for Rrie being on or over that rail.

rocks in the apartment, pet rocks, pond rocks around plants, what type of rocks were possibly thrown?

With the sound of something metallic being dropped. Could it have been dropped on the marble benchtop in the kitchen or the tiled floor?
Was Rrie holding whatever it was above her head ready to throw or hit him, he grabs her hand to make her drop it?

The other thing that makes me shudder is dad telling GT not to call Rrie's phone and yet GT still tries to call her.
Why call her? UGH!!

Gable Tostee's unit features clean painted white walls, a marble bathroom with glass shower unit and a bathtub and plain grey-beige carpet throughout.

A glossy grey galley kitchen with composite marble bench tops looks onto the large living room, which has floor-to-ceiling windows along the balcony.

2.11am - There are sounds of a struggle. A minute later, the sound of rocks possibly being thrown in the apartment is heard.

My guess is, if there is hypnotic sleeping drug in tox report, it may be problematic for the prosecution. Let's wait and see.

Stillnox (Australian brand name) is the specific drug GT had discussed in a BB forum for its date rape effects.
