they have the recordings, how he treated his other women(he recorded) would show the way he - dus his thang-the door closed, scream 30 seconds later, 30 seconds is quite a long time.

Nao, this was not a consensual thing. Read the news articles. It's clearly an attack.

the way i read it, he forced her out on balcony, and shut her out there by herself, unpleasant situation, but she just met the guy, why would she have such fear?

“This is f---ing ********, you are lucky I haven’t chucked you off my balcony you god damn psycho little *****.”

“If you try and pull anything, I will knock you the f--- out.”

“just let me go home” …… “I would but you have been a bad girl.”

Not to mention the physical disparity between them .. Tostee being tall and trains with weights, Warriena being a small, petite girl.

Reading this stuff elicits such a primal reaction in me. It's actually very 'triggering'... ie, I get super angry or just have to get up and do something 'busy' to get the nervous energy out. Bit of panic, I think. Imagine BEING there. :(

Ah well, I have a tidy house at least.

I hope he goes away for life. Wonder how his good pals are gonna explain all this away...

was she clothed?

Because he had throttled her and threatened her previously and said really messed up stuff? Are you serious? Sorry but to me it just seems so straight forward. I don't mean to be rude.

it is a sound recording, so it's an educated guess that he was choking her. IMO he's an easy lay, but thats all he is about, he is shallow, i do not,-imo- think murder was on his mind when
they met.

GT's language is knowing, conscious of being recorded, perhaps enacting a rapey fantasy to be listened to later. Rrie's obvious vulnerability seemed to feed something animalistic in him.

He desired her to fall off the balcony, he wanted her to be hurt in some way, he steered events toward her being punished. From the recording that is crystal clear.

Two questions:

What was GT's behaviour at school, in particular, were there any disturbing incidents with girls?
How often have his parents bailed him out, financially or situationally?

Pre-planned or not, it should never have happened!

GT also scared another girl who was lucky to get away from him (and in his own words) "manhandling" her

She’s small so I go to hug and lift her up and take her inside from the balcony but she totally freaks out, mumbles something about getting back to her parents and bolts out the door. Deletes me off both Tinder and FB.

'Maybe I acted too abruptly and snapped her out of her little lust-trance by manhandling her.'

Besides .. murder does not have to be pre-planned or even intentional in Queensland. Refer to 1(b) and 3 in the Act that I posted on the previous page.

I was thinking her handbag, trying to grab her stuff and leave, and at that point he's decided to use her belongings to punish her for .. whatever small thing she did. Probably nothing much, he may have been just looking for a reason to go off on her.[/

Warriena would have felt so vulnerable if he'd taken her clothes.
Did she bite him IYKWIM and that's why he retaliated so viciously? Too rough? Bad girl?
If that's the case I hope she drew blood!

It reminds me of when my brother would beat me up while yelling "stop hitting me" loud enough for mum to hear.

:silly: LOL yep that sounds like my brother!

I'm thinking he pushed her out on the balcony and locked the sliding door with him inside. I don't know whether or not she was clothed - there's been no mention of that. I only initially if there were any shoes.
My guess only, is that - it was cold, it was late. If he fulfilled his threat of not letting her have her "stuff", she didn't have her mobile phone and couldn't call anyone.
Maybe she considered yelling for help and wondered if he would come out and stop her.
He'd plied her with drinks in an atmosphere where she probably initially felt comfortable. Now her judgement was impaired.
From photos of avalon unit balcony set-ups, she may well have thought she could climb over and get along the parapet a bit and outside another unit & call for help.
Sadly she fell and I don't believe he threw her or dangled her. I think he was inside the unit but she was on that balcony, panicked, scared and vulnerable.
A terrible outcome and affecting so many people as a result.
The recording bit is bizarre but then so does he appear to be, all round. Having a good pizza meal (nothing like a fatality to give you an appetite) is the strangest of all.
However, from earlier reports there was CTV footage from the lobby of the building that showed him watching police from behind pillars, before going downstairs and into the basement.
I don't know if he was able to drive at the time - after those other offences - but he was after his keys - he would have needed to swipe something maybe to get into the basement - and then where could he go at that time of night in Surfers - he goes to the pizza place and calls dad for help - maybe dad came to pick him up, we don't yet know that the CTV from the parents' unit complex showed.
I do wish he had spoken to the police - given her family some answers - could he have dug a bigger hole for himself by doing so? I doubt it.
I will see if I can find those unit photo links.
