I wish we could hear this. I am not so sure GT went back inside. This doesn't read like a ninja move on Rrie's part at all, this reads like someone's voice becoming fainter because she has her head pushed over the side of the rail.

Why is GT not talking and why is he heavy breathing? So far he's managed to record all of these thoughts and suggestions and all of a sudden, just breathing? No "OMG OMG!!" as she climbs over? I mean no response at all from him, just breathing? He obviously has a fixation with her (or someone) going off the balcony and then he supposedly locks her out and walks away without looking back? Or she goes over on her own and he doesn't say ANYTHING describing the event, even knowing it's recorded ? No way. I think he was out there and he put her over head first, she grabbed on while screaming NO NO NO, and he's heavy breathing because he can't say anything because of the recording, and he's exerted himself lifting/pushing her over. The sound of the door "closing" (after opening to put her out) could have been this: He opens it a bit to put her out, she is tiny, and she's hanging onto the door or hitting the door. He has her out, holding onto her with one arm, and opens the door the rest of the way so he can get his own larger body out...the recording may sound like it's been shut but perhaps it's just been opened partway and then fully until it hits the stopper.

Whenever I let my kids out the sliding door, I open it a little for them and more for myself.

I wish we could hear this part of the recording.

Also want to know if the sliding door was open or shut when the police arrived.

I am leaning toward this myself. Well put.

Gee, you gotta be really, really, really, really naughty to get banned from Surfers Paradise night clubs. Of course a lot of them got closed down and owners jailed in the recent clean up - mainly for drug and other crime dealings. Anyway, I can't believe a party person like Tosser was only just into alcohol. He would be a rare nightclub goer here if he was.

You make him sound like a mastermind.

I don't think he anticipates everything; he's a mere mortal. He certainly doesn't expect to be completely mocked everytime he seeks peer approval on the BB forum.

You know, I've been wondering about the BB forum myself. He obviously enjoyed the interaction, imo. He was a member for quite some time. Why stay if he felt he was being mocked or abused? Sometimes his posts remind me of trolling behavior. He is wanting to get a reaction, imo.

It would make more sense to me too. But then the police case is that she was trying to get away from him. And they have a recording which is pretty rare. Could they have got that part wrong?

Some(disordered) people are just as happy with a reaction as they are with respect. I still think he is likely an ASD sufferer.

My pet armchair theory is that being rejected is the relationship dynamic he's familiar with. But it also gives him a sense of entitlement to act with superiority and reject/humiliate/manipulate the person rejecting him. I'm with Isis on the mother issues here, lol. Normally I try to refrain from psychoanalysing over the internet but GT is a gold mine!

I keep thinking about the comments GT made to his father.
I forced her onto the balcony
I did not force her over the balcony.

Sounds consistent with the door unlocking (not necessarily opening)
and possible sounds of glass door being hit were recorded at 2.20am.

Is it possible they were still inside the unit at this time.

The following minute or so Rrie repeats numerous times "no, no" and pleads for GT to just let her go home.

The sound of the sliding door shutting is heard on the recording.

Is it possible that someone could actually pick a person up and place them on the rail around the balcony and walk away and slid the door closed?

Would this sound like thudding and scuffling.

I'm with you on this, it is possible he sat her up on the railing (his heavy breathing) and then went inside. So truth be told he didn't 'push' her or 'throw' her over, but she was as 'drunk as a skunk', why would he put her in harm's way? Warriena's legs were seen dangling from railing before the fall.
Ok, she may have sat herself there too, thinking what to do and swayed to and fro and fell. :dunno:

For the life of me, I can't understand why a relatively sober guy, which GT was, would shut Warriena out on the balcony? Did he want her to bang on the doors, beg to be let in. He knew that if he let her leave from the front door, he wouldn't see her again.

My brain is turning to mush. :sigh:

Hi 'brahs'.... just my 7.5 self checking in lol.

I keep wondering why Warriena didn't call out for help from the balcony. If the situation was dire enough to attempt a dangerous escape, wouldn't it also warrant a "Somebody help me!!!" ?? (especially given there are other units in close proximity). I worry the defence will use this. Also puzzled by Tostee Snr's reaction. Understand it's natural to want to protect your child, but far out... in such circumstances, I'd like to think the 'average person' would be more concerned about loss of life.

:rolling: :hot: :blowkiss:

I wondered if Rrie was breathless from the choking making it hard for her to get much noise out.

Warriena would likely yell out if she was standing on the balcony but if Mr Muscle put her over the glass and onto the concrete section the fear would be overwhelming. Did she slip when he walked back inside and that's when the neighbour saw her legs.
That poor neighbour would rewind that those moments over and over. She could have seen Warriena's face for that split second. All lives that have been effected.

GT: "I don't ask for this (expletive). Why does this (expletive) happen to me?"

Ooooh I know, I know... pick me!

How tragic to read in the same article that his mother was away interstate attending her father's funeral at the time - then came home to her son's arrest.

Yep. He's completely blocked out the fact that he put people's lives in danger not long before this, in a high speed---200km/hr---pursuit on a heavily used road. Quite bluntly he could have killed someone in July. This is why I keep harping on about context.

You all know it's not his fault!

Trouble seems to follow him.
He really is a good boy daddy.
Maybe it's just a stage he's going through.

I so hope that there is a witness that has heard or saw something to which we are not yet aware.

Anyway, I can't believe a party person like Tosser was only just into alcohol. He would be a rare nightclub goer here if he was.

He was into presription medicine/sedatives/tranquilisers. He talks about it on BB.com

And I think that what went down with him and Warriena was something he had probably fantasised about for a long time, over and over. But that's just MOO.

Exactly Isis! Look at Ted Bundy for example. He was addicted to 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and fantasising until he needed to live those fantasies until he was raping and killing regularly forever seeking the thrill 'his first kill'.

Tostee was documenting his conquests like many serial rapists and murders do.

I seriously believe he had serial tendencies formed!

Is Xanax (alprazolam) classified as an anti-psychotic?? I thought it was prescribed for anxiety. :dunno:
