<mod snip> It has never been stated that Warriena's sister was with her when she died. The prosecution is simply establishing for the jury that, through electronic messages Warriena sent to her sister, she was with Tostee on the night she was murdered died.

Warriena sent this message: "I found the Australian Sam Winchester" to her younger sister back in NZ after meeting #tostee.The court is being shown photographs of Warriena and #tostee posing together on his balcony shortly before her death.We are breaking for lunch until 2.30pm.

Last communication with sister: Warriena Wright's sister broke down in tears as she told the court of the last communication she had with the 26-year-old before she plunged to her death from Gable Tostee's balcony in August, 2014.
Marreza Wright is the first person to give evidence in the trial.
She told the court she exchanged messages on Facebook with her sister on the night she met Mr Tostee.
"She was just messaging me that she met this guy," she told the court.
"She said he looks like a character in a TV show we watch."
Marreza, who sobbed at times during her evidence, said her sister told her Tostee looked like the character Sam Winchester from the popular television show Supernatural.
"I replied with thumbs up...," she said.
"She sent photos, they were quite fuzzy."
Later on August 8, 2014, Marreza was told her sister was dead.
She came to Australia to help police access the messages on Facebook, the court was told.
The trial continues this afternoon.
