What, over the balcony? Because she had no way of leaving the apartment any other way, regardless of what happened before that.

If a person felt so threatened by another that they felt compelled to confine them against their will ON THEIR PREMISES, logic says the police would be called. Hmmm, no such call. He must have been terrified for his life, why not reach out to those who could assist him? If his life was threatened, why didn't he exit his apartment and call the police from the hallway? IMO because he wasn't fearful at all.

And leave her inside to do whatever damage she could?

or refuse to leave when told to do so...repeatedly. Depends on how good your ears are when you listen to a recording i guess....

bbm ...

I'm referring to personal threat, not threat to property. Big difference. Part of his reasoning is HE felt threatened. If his coffee table was his main concern at that stage and not his own personal safety, I'm sure he had every opportunity to call for assistance. How else would it be explained?

well.. I am pretty sure it will be up to the DEFENCE , surely , to explain what Ausgirl doesn't get, , the Prosecutor will merely state how repulsive and guilty Gabe is.... the Crown Prosecutor isn't there to think up excuses or explanations for Gabes idiocy.. that is the job of his defence barrister, who , and no one can argue this, has a hell of a job to do in that regard..
Works both ways, and its all on the recording. Neither come out looking good.

I am not sure why the thought of placing her outside the front door is rejected. It was a very viable option. The apartment is tiny.

Tostee has been treated by a psychiatrist since 2009 for “insecure social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression”, Judge Mullins said.

I expect his barrister will make a big hoo haa about that at his appeal, or perhaps, at his sentencing... poor gabe, he cant take it inside prison, and all that bumpf.... .

It doesn't seem as if 7 years of treatment has done a lot of good, though, he might be better off without it..

Mods I've been off the forums a while, so hopefully I post this properly.

am very interested to see what else comes up in this trial, there is certainly a few things that have peaked my interest, such as the walk Toastee takes through the adjacent park after fleeing the scene & the time he takes. Is there any bins in that park? I'm sure LE would have been all over it.

The missing pillow case (might be significant?).
Victim sounds like she is choked, was an item used?

I just saw this in MSM and does anyone know what Tostee might be holding as he exits building into what looks like garage?? Looks long and perhaps metal?

it was just a tinder hookup. you are overplaying the whole intimate thing, particularly as tostee's hospitality had been abused, i dont see how you determine he should be in love with her and all ga ga. This is the teenies, not 1945. Wjam, bam, thank you ma'am. Get with the times.

Definition of intimacy...close familiarity. A dignified way of saying they had sex, me thinks. The source of their acquaintance is irrelevant.

That was not the question I asked. Has that evidence been led by the Crown at the Trial? As opposed to a successful bail application.

Researching for ourselves is a wonderful thing

fairy dust, This is because I find GT a more interesting case study in personality disorder.

And I did actually have 'one' thing to say about Rrie in my post, I said she was drunk and disorderly.

I've never claimed any legal acumen.. I am a retired nuclear physicist, and microarchitect, I didn't have time to muck about with a law degree as well, and besides,, it doesn't pay that well.

I'm going for alibi. He seems to be pretty quick on the ball in regards to covering his a$$.

ie -
Didn't want to look over the balcony in case anyone saw him and assumed he pushed her
Lawyered up immediately, and (in his own words later to his father) before he knew for certain she was dead
Left the scene immediately

I think he was scattergunning a few a$$-covering tactics

Yep alibi for me as well.
Hiding behind the pole and down to the basement.....dreaded cctv's
Gee if only he had dialed 000. When the police arrived they would have seen those giant boulders and thought my, my this 🤬🤬🤬🤬 star was in danger.
Though, I did not hear him scream no, no, no in his recording.
imo
