What actually happened that night? From the defence??

Is it just me or has most of the defence arguments already been posted here, with incredible accuracy? Wow we either have some gifted folk or some amazing inside info here on WS

And that, my dear friends, is why you hire a QC.

He may as well just get up and leave the courtroom now.

BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA

Why? Must have missed something...

Holt: "He was acting to move a disorderly person from his property and the law says you can do that." #tostee

BBM: Um, the balcony is part of Tostee's property. So therefore he didn't remove Warriena from his property at all.

Yes, he restrained her on the property, denied her requests to be removed from it. Because, she'd "been a bad girl"

But nobody that has posted any defence theories is a "verified expert" on WS so you can't take any of notice of their waffle :P

I'm so disappointed in the prosecution. If one looks at the photograph of the reenactment of Warriena's feet dangling, it is obvious there is no way the neighbour below could have seen Tostee standing above lowering Warriena over the balcony rail. There is no way she would have attempted that climb down that balcony. The case the prosecution has run is a joke. Tostee hung her over the rail and ran back inside. If you hang someone off a balcony and leave them to fall, that's murder. I will never forget this travesty of justice.

Off topic slightly, but I am just wondering if there have been cases on WS, when someone has been charged with murder, and you guys sleuth, and have come to the consensus that even though the person is charged, they are in fact innocent?

I absolutely agree with you.
Why did she not bang on the door or yell help or anything. If he didn't put her over the edge then the second d her took his arms from being around her and slammed the door then she has instantly run to the edge and climbed over and dropped. It just doesn't make any sense.
He put her over the balcony and let go of her. She has managed to grip into something for a few fleeting moments before she looses grip.

No other scenario makes sense? She didn't chase him back inside. She doesn't bang on the door or tell him to let her back in or even scream for neighbours or yell help.
Because she didn't have a chance. She was too busy holding on for dear life.
