In none of the news stories EVER has their been the Lifeline byline suicide disclaimer thingy when describing Rrie's fall.

When they go home tonight, do you think they will discuss this case with their spouse or anyone else they live with? Human nature being what it is.

I've been in meetings all afternoon. Is there a verdict yet?

IMO the jury has negated murder but is still deliberating on manslaughter. It doesn't have to be a unanimous decision for manslaughter.

Hopefully they hug their daughters and find Tostee guilty of murder.

As JCB correctly posted today (and also properly corrected me on the matter) Qld Law is that majority verdicts are not available when the punishment is life imprisonment, as it is in Qld, on a conviction for manslaughter.

It would be so hard not to! Hearing everything from the trial and not being able to discuss your thoughts or opinions with the people you feel closest too.....It would feel unnatural not to talk to them, same as you would if you were at work for the day, you come home and talk about it with your partner/friends.....Especially if there has been conflict in your day.

#tostee has been trending No 1 in Brisbane on Twitter all day.

Just to clarify, that only applies to offences that carry a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment (murder and a couple of others) as opposed to a maximum of life imprisonment. Manslaughter can be decided upon by majority verdict, murder cannot.
