BBM - Is this just bad wording... was mum even at the house at time of disappearance?

To me, it is not clear if that means his mother was at the grandmother's house, or if she was at her own home.

Yes, she was at the house, but had gone inside over those minutes during which William went missing.
Reading these lasts updates from police reports, I also really feel for the police and others involved in the search.
They must all be under enormous pressure and feel great scrutiny upon them, with increasing amounts of people attuned to this story and constantly wondering about and asking for updates.
They really want to find William and they are increasingly using language that gives an insight into their own predicament - like baffling, absolutely bewildering.
It must be sooo frustrating for them that, with all their know how, resources and equipment etc, they keep drawing a blank.

Xantara do you have a link regarding the mother going inside. Id like to read it please. It might help make things clearer for me.
I havent seen the MSM about his sister going in to the toilet either. Can anyone post that one as well please?

What about police setting up their strike force headquarters at Port Macquarie? Is that because they need bigger/better facilities and accommodation based at a larger town, or because the investigation is shifting farther afield, or are there no actual police facilities in the Kendall area? Although police did arrive at the scene very quickly after William was reported missing, so I would think that there were facilities closer than Port Macquarie.

Just wondering .... not familiar with that area at all.

ETA: Oh, just answering my own question. Kendall falls under the mid north coast LAC, which is based at Port Macquarie.

Not giving up hope

We got deep into a rainforest and we found a campsite out there where someone has been camping and leaving some supplies.

"So we're going to go and suss around that area and see who's doing that," he said.

Mrs Dean Harper from North Haven has been volunteering for the past three days.

"I went out in the bush on Saturday but I'm 74-years-old and I fell," she said.

"So my granddaughter and daughter banned me to the kitchen, so that's where I've been ever since."

Can anyone point me to a link about the Spider-man's outfit found in park in Port MacQuarie, and being dismissed as irrelevant. How far is Kendall from Port Macquarie, I hope they have good reason to dismiss it, seems a huge coincidence to me.

I'm wondering about fire trails... Is there anyway someone could have driven close to the house and back again via the fire trails, so never actually being on the street for witnesses to see?

  • #275
The whole situation is just bizarre. I'm struggling to think of something that hasn't already been suggested :waitasec::waitasec:

  • #276
This will probably sound ridiculous but I was reading on another forum and someone suggested perhaps he had fallen down a wombat hole.

  • #277
Chloe C's disappearance was also completely bizarre so we know strange things do happen.

  • #278
I'm not familiar with Kendall at all, but I hope all motels in the area and beyond are being searched.
