BBM. That is certainly not the case as far as I'm concerned. My opinion on BS's involvement in William's disappearance has absolutely nothing to do with the historical sex charges. The police have had BS in their sites as a person of interest from the beginning. They've invested many man hours, time and money in their investigation. They do not do that on a whim. I feel sure that they have a lot more evidence that will eventually be revealed.

I don't think Hillsley has almost admitted sexually assaulting the little girls BS is accused of sexually assaulting. It is all supposition. We don't know how many nieces Hillsley has and we don't know if he was actually living with the said victims in January 1987. All of this is assumed because of what we've read in MSM and Hillsley's court record. It's joining the dots but it doesn't always give a complete picture. I'm looking forward to Spedding's upcoming days in court and hopefully the truth will finally be revealed one way or the other.

I agree with Makara....they would have investigated a lot of people who were in the vicinity (including family or foster family etc) but who did they name (lets not forget they actually NAMED HIM) as a POI from the start? I dont see anyone else being named as a POI. Just because he doesnt look sinister we have discounted him. I work in the sports industry with kids and as I have said before, it is an old-fashioned concept to think that you have to simply worry about that dirty old man in the corner. The people you worry about most are those who gain your trust and those of your children and appear to be the nice friendly next door type. People might not want to hear it but it is a reality. Teachers, child care workers, coaches, scout leaders....I dont need to go on...it gives me the horrors just thinking about it.

This really bothers me, so the family of jh knew he was a paedophile yet they allowed him to be around they're little girls. There's something seriously wrong with this IMO.

Thanks this has been bothering me a lot today....an interesting question would be 'why were they there at all'? As for poor little WT I suspect if BS has anything to do with him then we will know the answers once he goes to sentencing for this case and a 'deal' will be made. Sickening.

So it would seem that Peter O'Brien has evidence that Hillsley did live in the same home as Spedding's alleged victims in January 1987. So that clears that up. It doesn't explain how Hillsley could have raped and assaulted those two little girls between April - May 1987. He was in jail. And that's what the charges against BS are. That he raped and assaulted the two little girls between April - May 1987, not January 1987.

Just because the defence lawyer stated that JH lived with the victims, does this make it fact? Clearly he would be getting this information from BS.

Just wanted to add, im pretty sure at the local court everyone gets told to arrive at 9:30 then they deal with cases in order, for example first they do adjournments then juvenile cases then avo's, then bail hearings then mentions. I wouldnt be suprised if they try to quickly get all the other stuff out of the way first.

im wondering if this paedophile ring police have been investigating involves mainly bs close family and friends
and little w was taken for one of them, by bs, and thats what his link to this is?
also wondering if any other of this family have any child offence records?
guess it will all come out soon.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get a copy of the police notes tendered to the court on 23 April 2015? If we could get them it would be the best document to clarify when these offences took place and when medical intervention was sought.
