BS is free to go about his business within the conditions of his bail.
I think the media will will be aware of his previous comment;
“I treat the media with the respect of a snake,” he says. He won’t comment on the “vexatious complaints” or Margaret’s visit to the clairvoyant. He confirms that he has engaged lawyers and is considering legal action against some media outlets for their coverage. But mostly, he politely bats away our questions with a “no comment”. When asked if there is anything he’d like to add, he says: “Well, I am not guilty, of course. I was never there on the day.”

That was before he was charged with anything.
imo

I wouldn't feel threatened with him being out, he would not dare risk his bail surely. As ksks said its better the one you know than the one you don't .

BUT WHAT IF HE DID? Who are the types who visit him?
I'm frightened how pedophiles act on an insatiable desire without thought. Someone took William and they WILL take another child one day.
We're seeing children plucked from their yards in milliseconds.
Knowing this is closeby, the fear of letting kiddies play unattended, even for a moment would drive any parent, grandparent AND the children crazy.
Helicopter parenting would be essential.
There goes the relaxed rural lifestyle. IMO.

I wasnt there on the day......hmmm but he can blame JH for something when he most certainly wasnt 'there on the day'....oh the irony

Could be completely wrong but he has always struck me as a person who likes to push the envelope. Driving past search site, van in the street while bush search was on, driving around with a spiderman toy, then going to the shops as soon as he's let out of the clink? Doesn't imply he's guilty or innocent but it might imply he's a bit of a douche

Absolutely. I was almost about to post something identical to this! I mean, really, how many "coincidences" does it take before the big picture becomes obvious?

And while the best detectives in the country are jumping up and down pointing at him, I have no problems sleuthing such trivial news articles. It's not just a story about your Average Joe stopping at the local general store. It's about one of the most hounded men in Australia right now, someone who supposedly hates the media attention, stopping to go shopping (when anyone could have done it for him) in front of the cameras right after he's released from jail.

My local shop is an agent for Australia Post as AustPost has shut down rural post offices. If I wanted to send a message to someone (knowing I would be monitored by police/phone/internet/press) I would buy some stamps and send a letter, fairly easy and hard to link back to myself if not in my hand writing.

Really think that's what's going on.... Seriously the guy stopped at the shop. This is getting ridiculous.

  • #549
Yes agree. In fact people obsessing about why he stopped at the shop is actually becoming ridiculous.

No we're not. The reason this story is so newsworthy is because it happens so rarely. I can count on two hands the number of times a child has been snatched from their home in Australia.

In all my time prosecuting, my office did not deal with a single stranger abduction. I dealt with hundreds and hundreds of cases where the perpetrator was the mother's boyfriend, or the grandfather, or the uncle, or the father. And very occasionally that nice man down the street.

Looks like it's taking its toll on BS - he seems to have lost quite a bit of weight

I'm not seeing any police jumping up and down pointing at him. I'm seeing plenty of media, both social and MSM, doing that, but I don't think that police have done anything more than name as a POI and one of several lines of enquiry.

Laurieton has been 'kind of' famous before.

The biggest thing that ever happened in Laurieton, on the state’s mid-north coast, was the day US comedian Bob Hope dropped in — when his plane made an emergency landing in 1944.

NOW.

Port Macquarie Hastings councillor Adam Roberts said people were struggling to come to terms with the fact that William may have been murdered in Bonny Hills. “There is a sense of disbelief that this could happen in our area,” he said. “There is a feeling of helplessness, if there was something we could do, we would be doing it.”

Schoolboy, 8, ‘abducted from Shelley backyard’

BACKYARD!!

AN eight-year-old boy has been left traumatised after a man tried to abduct him while he played in his backyard before school.

This is what I'm referring to or did I dream this???

TWO children in 6 months is TWO too many.

Reading Bruce Morcombe's article today reminded me of just how active they were in not letting their son be forgotten and ensured it remained in the media and hopefully lead to information and/or tip off.
Due to bureaucracy William's parents are prevented from doing the same.
If the media want to take a photo of the one declared person of interest stopping at the shop, and it is keeping William's case active and people are still discussing and remembering this beautiful, cheeky little 3 year old boy. Then in my opinion it is not ridiculous. I say kudo's to the media and anyone discussing it.

I find it very interesting & strategic that the ff release a birthday letter 5 days before Williams birthday. One day after the only poi is released on bail.
I think jubelin knows what he's doing. My wish is william is home with his ff that love him dearly for his birthday. I also think something big is going to happen soon just my opinion.
I have been waiting for that "something big" for a while now. I know I will get up some peoples noses but I really think the police are stuck.

Obviously not literally jumping up and down pointing, but... considering they raided his home and business premises, then visited his home several more times before they finally they arrested him for the historical offences (arrested by the detectives investigating William's case)... I would say metaphorically that is jumping up and down pointing at him.

Edit: Not to mention Jubelin's story to The Australian which was as subtle as a sledgehammer as to who he was referring to (Google the story "How could toddler William Tyrrell simply vanish into thin air?")

I think he was arrested, been in gaol for a couple of months and now out on bail.
I really think LE did do a fair bit of jumping around to get some background on this totally innocent dude.
Maybe our cops really feel our children could be in danger and they did what they could.

Let's hope they are working behind the scenes like they were for Daniel Morcombe.

Silence could be golden.
