wonder if bs is spending his leisure time reading anything with his name on all the social media sites and forums, including here, secretely enjoying his new found "fame"
wonder how long before he cant resist the urge to post?
two weeks until his next court appearance, hopefully some more news before then

The billboards are a good idea but I'm saddened that they are only just coming out NOW.

Two theories on this:

1. To place extreme pressure on anyone that knows something, ahead of the trial (location of the billboards is interesting.)

2. Given that William's parents have been unable to campaign publicly, perhaps Bravehearts/Mr Morecombe reached out with a solution. It's an impossible situation for William's parents. I bet they would move mountains to find him but they have been effectively gagged.

I can't imagine he will get any joy from it.

I think this is just a mock up and not the real thing.

I wonder if the billboards are going onto the pacific highway.

I don't know if there has been a specific appeal to truck drivers but with all the speculation about caravans and interstate trips, I wonder if a truck driver might have seen something - that's a pretty busy route and near the kind of "halfway" point between Brisbane and sydney....by 11 in the morning, many daytime truck drivers would be looking for a lunch stop. Or even in the days afterward.

The three billboards will go up alongside the Pacific Highway from Tuesday.

Featuring a photograph of four-year-old William, the white, blue and red boards will be concentrated on the mid north coast stretch, including near an exit to Port Macquarie.

Two will be placed just north of Taree.

Highly possible, my dad is an interstate truckie, they have to make a certain amount of stops per day and have a required amount of rest every so often (well at his company he does)

I hope someone saw something that can bring us closer to finding WT

Here in the US, I don't recall ever seeing a missing person billboard. I think that this is absolutely fantastic that this is being done to find William!!!

On our freeways there are orange lights on a black signs which says incident ahead etc...I remember earlier this year when was a search for a missing baby girl and the signs where changed to say the number plate of the car, colour and make and direction it was heading & to report any sightings.

It's a great idea IF the information is available immediately for the public.

On the "Where's William" campaign page it says they are working in collaboration with the NSW Police with the support of the Federal Police. That was interesting. I suppose the AFP have to be involved to investigate possible overseas sightings.

We do have those orange and black signs for traffic as well. When there is an Amber Alert it does display that info. I really do love the billboard. No doubt that they will catch people's attention.

One thing that I like about Amber alerts here is that they come right across our cell phones.

Like the photos of William sitting in the fire truck was an exciting event so William may have overheard that a (nice) man was coming to fix grandma's machine and was excited and trusting so he may have ran up to the van to say hello.

In the two videos below what saved these children were their screaming and fighting off a stranger. A young child's screams can be ear piercing, at what age are children taught about stranger danger and what to do?

Probably making a scrapbook of all of the newspaper clippings!

I hope and pray with all of my might that the prosecution comes out of left field with enough evidence to knock em all off their feet.

Garforth was involved in the search for Ebony Simpson like Spedding was at grandma's home during the search and drive past another search site. Do these creeps relish the excitement?

The day a town lost its innocence

It is 10 years since the tiny township of Bargo was rocked by the callous murder of one of its children.
Nine-year-old Ebony Simpson was abducted after getting off her bus on the way home from school on August 19, 1992.

The following day Garforth joined about 150 locals who were assisting police in the search for the missing schoolgirl. That night he was interviewed and stunned police with his casual manner and graphic description of events.

i think they do get some pleasure from it, like arsonists who lurk and watch their fires. and serial killers who take trophies, etc
i think its pretty creepy if bs does have something to do with williams disappearance the fact he actually posted on facebook, quoting the mammamia page someone had written about it, and asking where is william?
then he was seen driving past the search, his van parked outside the grandmothers amongst the search and police vehicles, spiderman toy in his van etc who knows, he probably helped in the search as well, some of these things could be seen as horrible coincidences, but the things he wrote on the fb page arent they were deliberate

Spedding was at the house to repair the washing machine in the week following wasn't he and I also think I read (here) that driving past the other search sites was probably unavoidable for someone living and working in the area.

yes, like i said, they could be just coincidences and explained away, but if bs has knowledge of what happened to william he knowingly wrote his post on the find william website, and that cant be explained away, its just very creepy!

I'm curious if Spedding was asked to come back and repair the machine, or if he asked to come back.

Only because there is an article floating around that says William's mother answered the phone the day that William went missing, and she told Spedding that he couldn't come around that day but would let him know when.

That message is pretty clear, "Please stay away until you hear from us."

If he insisted on coming back, then that's quite damning IMO.

Maybe the Police asked GM to phone and get him back to fix the machine, and watch his behaviour at the same time.

i cant really imagine williams grandmother even thinking about the washing machine that week. wasnt she so distressed she went and stayed elsewhere, i think they would all be sick with worry and not thinking "life goes on" practicalities
what day was bs vehicle spotted by msm amongst the emergency vehicles?
