We all have been of the opinion that the owners of the cars would be aware that police wanted to talk to them but after discussing this case this afternoon with my hubby I have now changed my mind. He had absolutely no idea that there was a search on for the owners of two cars that were parked there. The more I think about it there would be quite a lot of people who have not heard/have no interest in this case. Teenage drivers probably would not have much interest in the news.

I agree. Also foreign investors or families with English as a second language. Quite possible they have looked at houses for sale and returned overseas or looked at multiple houses and not a lot of recollection of dates etc.

Seems strange that there are 27 persons of interest but only BS name has been released.

But was him name released by police? Or the media just found out and clung to it.

Jubelin just said on 60 Minutes that the information about the cars was not released until now for tactical reasons. He also said a reward has not been offered due to tactical reasons.

I'm trying to connect the dots together. It's making me think that they KNOW what happened but they just need that little bit of extra information to lay charges.

To not release the info about the cars and to not offer a reward makes me think they know more than they are letting on, but they have to pretend they don't.

The reporter asked him about the video that BS released and asked about forensic psychologists looking at it.

I think I actually laughed out loud when I watched it!

I know the BS tape has been discussed here and I won't re-hash anything, but man oh man, if BS is the guy, wow! He either thinks he can outsmart a team of police, or things are unravelling at a great rate of knots. One thing I found curious about BS tape was that he said recent media; this exact point in time has probably been the quietest the media has been about him, yet, it was in the week leading up to the anniversary. To me it was kind of like he was metaphorically flipping the detectives the bird....here I am but you can't touch me. And now after seeing Jubelins face tonight, I wouldn't be so sure about that Spedding!!!!!!

IMO I cant help feeling that William was not the only target in this case. With the POI and others associated with him especially liking little girls around that age I wonder if both children were in danger that morning.

From what I remember the children were playing, chasing one another. William was running around the house then being followed by his sister. What if William was snatched first - with the expectation that his sister would be coming around the corner soon after then she would be taken as well.

I mean if you were going to commit this very risky crime as part of a pedo ring and kidnap being relatively rare in Aus the "ring" may have risked this for two children. The fact that the sister needed to go to the toilet may have saved her life.

Thinking that "they" may have targeted the two children makes things feel a bit different about this case. We are all so focused on William being taken (as we should be), but his sister could have been a target as well. Does thinking that both children could have been taken change or challenge anybody else's thoughts?

Allot of information has been released since the physcologist has become a member the police strike force to find William. IMO, I think the information released to the "public" is really information targeted to a certain person or people, the strike force is just communicating with the targeted person or people. Hence releasing certain information so late in the investigation. I dont think they really need anymore information from the public in relation to what has been recently released from the public, just putting some pressure on a certain person/people.

IMO the police after a year of William's disappearance don't have much at all, at least not enough to make any arrests apart from BS pertaining to a case from 30 years ago. I'm sure they would of had all the forensic testing results back by now as well. If there was anything to tie anyone to the crime i'm sure they would have been arrested and have their suspect/s.

I can't sleep now you've got my attention.

I've been thinking about the cars. One older and the other a newer sporty model both with windows down....it's reminding me of my days in real estate. It would be nothing to meet someone at a property, chat outside the cars and leave the windows open because you would have the keys in your hand and you wouldn't be far away from the vehicles. I never drove onto the properties I always parked on the roadway as I felt it was respectful.
Who would imagine that prestige rural area would be dangerous.

I dont accept that NO-ONE knew about the visit to gm house and the timing. Others had to know. Neighbours in Sydney, day care staff, all sorts of people.

Maybe it was prospective buyers who had decided to go back for a second look at the vacant land, maybe one main buyer and a mate checking it out again... they should find out who was handling the sale of that land and go through everyone who ever looked at that block or enquired about it...
