I still think the suspicious car activity is unrelated to William' s disappearance. Sounds very much like drug dealing. It makes sense to choose a quiet area, especially a dead end street. No thru traffic lessens the chance of being observed. I strongly feel that William has perhaps come across this deal and been taken to protect the drug mob or else he has accidentally been hit by one of these cars. He may have been knocked unconscious and therefore no blood to see / smell. Novice drug people may have panicked and taken him rather than get help for him and expose their "business". I think the police have spent a year working on an abduction theory but may be totally on the wrong track.

IMO I can't just see drug dealers being worried about a 3 year old witness.

From krig's post above:

Detective Inspector Jubelin said that many people had told police that they had been *reluctant to come forward over the past year because they “didn’t want to get involved in something like this”.

I have no words.

I still don't think the cars are relevant, there has been no mention of fd seeing them
when he left to do errand so assume they had gone by then.

School kids going off to school, neighbour driving out, people leaving for work. All these locals didn't flinch at the cars parked there. They know the street and there was nothing out of the ordinary.

Let's cut the chase........when is BS going to be arrested and charged?

The whole drug drop theory does not seem right to me. Why park in full view of the house when there are heaps of better places to go, like 30 m forwards, or at the cemetery. If they are trying to look 'normal' and not draw attention to themselves, a few cars and people standing around at the cemetery would go unnoticed.
Someone earlier mentioned it could be people sleeping in their cars after a big night on the turps. Too drunk to drive all the way home, so just drive out of town into a residential street and park between two driveways, rather than parking overnight in the bush where someone might vandalise your car or scare you. I checked to see if any bands were playing at Kendall the night before. Nothing.

IMO I cant help feeling that William was not the only target in this case. With the POI and others associated with him especially liking little girls around that age I wonder if both children were in danger that morning.

From what I remember the children were playing, chasing one another. William was running around the house then being followed by his sister. What if William was snatched first - with the expectation that his sister would be coming around the corner soon after then she would be taken as well.

I mean if you were going to commit this very risky crime as part of a pedo ring and kidnap being relatively rare in Aus the "ring" may have risked this for two children. The fact that the sister needed to go to the toilet may have saved her life.

Thinking that "they" may have targeted the two children makes things feel a bit different about this case. We are all so focused on William being taken (as we should be), but his sister could have been a target as well. Does thinking that both children could have been taken change or challenge anybody else's thoughts?
I completely agree!

A criminal profiler helping in the year-long search for missing boy William Tyrrell has revealed details of his suspected kidnapper and what she says was likely an opportunistic crime.
Dr Sarah Yule says her investigations suggest possible explanations for the then three-year-old's disappearance from the front yard of his grandmother's Kendall home on the NSW mid-north coast are limited.
'There really is a limited number of possibilities that can account for William's disappearance.'

The NSW police force's senior forensic psychologist said there was 'only a narrow window of opportunity' to take the little boy.

Me too. BS is in it up to his neck one way or another as far as I'm concerned. I also have a very strong gut feeling, for whatever little it's worth, about Anthony Jones. This guy is bad news, I can feel it in my bones! Just my opinion of course.

Extra thought: Those professions would also make for a legitimate reason to insinuate themselves into any search or investigation; not unheard of (i.e., Ariel Castro).
I wonder if Mr. Jones can be seen lurking in the original search photos???

And it was BS himself that confirmed it was the 18th - not police or media.

“We’ve had well over 300 calls and those calls are broken up into possible sightings of William, persons of interest, persons acting suspicious and information about vehicles,” he (Jubelin) said.

“I’m confident there will be some significant information in what we’ve received.”

Detective Inspector Jubelin said that many people had told police that they had been *reluctant to come forward over the past year because they “didn’t want to get involved in something like this”.

It certainly does make you wonder. Nowhere has it been reported, nor was it mentioned in the 60 Minutes interview that BS was the owner/driver of any of the cars mentioned. To be honest I don't recall ever reading that BS was seen in Benaroon Drive that day, only that a washing machine repair van was seen parked among the police cars on 18 September last year. So why the need to throw that little tidbit in I wonder?

'Feeling the heat', to use Jubelin's words, perhaps?

Also:

“We’re finding that either people don’t think they’re information is of importance or relevance, or they they’re worried about getting involved in a matter like this and that holds people back,” he said.

“But I think people are now realising that they’ve got a responsibility.”

Holds people back???

Was the bike found and where, do you know?

I haven't seen an exact time for when the two parked cars were seen across the road from the grandmother's house. There was mention of a grey or green older style sedan driving by the front of the house at about 9:00am that morning. William was riding his bike on the driveway.

10:30am means there would be little to no traffic jams to deal with in the area. This could mean it was planned in advance or someone with pre thought about the concept. Not a random grab then, oh, that was a stupid time slot.

“The kidnapping occurred on a Friday around 10.30am,” Detective Inspector Jubelin said.

“So if no-one but William’s parents and grandmother knew in advance of his visit to Kendall, then you would have to have some other reason to be there and take that opportunity; either visiting, residing or working in the vicinity.

Next time someone is tempted to say anything negative about the secrecy surrounding William's family, they should really take a look at this article:

http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/news...r-other-children/story-fni0cx12-1227524520830

Seems like a pretty valid reason to me.

Along with a complicated family history preventing them from being legally identified, William’s mum and dad say they would not put themselves in the public eye regardless, because they do not want his other siblings to be identified.

I think people fear the media pack also. The media can be brutal, misleading and deceptive. That possibility of ending up on the tv with connotation of paedophilia.

The media splash is "Pedophile ring" and then your face ends up on tv. There is the dangers of being stalked by a paedophile ring. They fear the ring may even extend into the police force. It only takes one. Tentacles run deep. People don't want to go there. There is some complete psychos out there.
For the most part, the only way of connecting is anonymous communication.

Remember the woman around the corner whose son had been approached. If so, it could be distant neighbour.

Also:
“We’re finding that either people don’t think they’re information is of importance or relevance, or they they’re worried about getting involved in a matter like this and that holds people back,” he said.

the forensic psychologist is pointing to friend, worker or neighbour, i dont think any friend was there visiting so that leaves worker or neighbour, are they pointing their finger at bs and using the psychologist to psyche him out, in my opinion, hes playing a game, a cunning old man, taunting investigators, he has a long history of dubious behaviour, hes friends with known paedophiles, his brother in law a murderer and paedo, his historic child rape, the investigation into his care of his foster children, im sure the police have a longer list, im hoping bs doesnt have friends in high places and untouchable?
the worker or neighbour scenario could be both, neighbour lurking and bs or associate doing the drive by when alerted.
also still wondering about someone else close to bs having involvement, maybe someone who has a criminal history and associated with like minded people in prison, wonder if bs is covering for him?

Good point. Just glad people are finally putting all fears aside for little William.

Unfortunately for all involved they have had they're names and faces splashed all over social media this week.
As soon as they did the ACA interview facebook went crazy and although it seems most of the rubbish has been removed I think the damage is done.

This is my take from all the new information etc over the last couple of days.

* Jubelin & his team are working to find William alive.

* If William was deceased the strategy would be completely different. ie a reward for information etc

* The puppet master orchestrating all of this, has now become the puppet thanks to Jubelin

* Everything bit of information and every article has a silent "Dear POI" at the beginning, but the public are reading in general terms.

* Every single move now more than ever is being calculated and executed swiftly and when the other shoe drops, its going to drop hard heavy and fast.

*Jubelin must be exhausted!
