Jubelin just said on 60 Minutes that the information about the cars was not released until now for tactical reasons. He also said a reward has not been offered due to tactical reasons.

I'm trying to connect the dots together. It's making me think that they KNOW what happened but they just need that little bit of extra information to lay charges.

To not release the info about the cars and to not offer a reward makes me think they know more than they are letting on, but they have to pretend they don't.

The reporter asked him about the video that BS released and asked about forensic psychologists looking at it.

Jubelin was determined not to go into it but I'm sure I detected a smirk.

Yes, I think they are close to hauling someone in for more intensive questioning and just need a bit more stuff behind them before they pounce

I think I actually laughed out loud when I watched it!

I know the BS tape has been discussed here and I won't re-hash anything, but man oh man, if BS is the guy, wow! He either thinks he can outsmart a team of police, or things are unravelling at a great rate of knots. One thing I found curious about BS tape was that he said recent media; this exact point in time has probably been the quietest the media has been about him, yet, it was in the week leading up to the anniversary. To me it was kind of like he was metaphorically flipping the detectives the bird....here I am but you can't touch me. And now after seeing Jubelins face tonight, I wouldn't be so sure about that Spedding!!!!!!

That is a thought, that he thinks he is untouchable, but I don't think he's thinking that way. I think he's scared of what will happen to him. I think his marriage has crumbled, he's been abandoned by family, friends and clients, and he's doing his best to maintain some semblance of control of his life. Again, I think he's indirectly involved in William's disappearance.

Allot of information has been released since the physcologist has become a member the police strike force to find William. IMO, I think the information released to the "public" is really information targeted to a certain person or people, the strike force is just communicating with the targeted person or people. Hence releasing certain information so late in the investigation. I dont think they really need anymore information from the public in relation to what has been recently released from the public, just putting some pressure on a certain person/people.

I think everything that has been released by police is aimed at someone/someones wrapped up prettily as community information. The tension and anticipation at the Rosann headquarters must be electric.

The whole drug drop theory does not seem right to me. Why park in full view of the house when there are heaps of better places to go, like 30 m forwards, or at the cemetery. If they are trying to look 'normal' and not draw attention to themselves, a few cars and people standing around at the cemetery would go unnoticed.
Someone earlier mentioned it could be people sleeping in their cars after a big night on the turps. Too drunk to drive all the way home, so just drive out of town into a residential street and park between two driveways, rather than parking overnight in the bush where someone might vandalise your car or scare you. I checked to see if any bands were playing at Kendall the night before. Nothing.

When I drive in to town to go to the supermarket I have sometimes seen obvious drug deals being made in the carpark. It's so easy to blend in and be hidden from scrutiny in a very busy public place where there are lots of cars coming and going, often in a short period of time, than in a quiet suburban street where you are quite open to view and speculation. The whole drug drop theory doesn't seem right to me, either.

the forensic psychologist is pointing to friend, worker or neighbour, i dont think any friend was there visiting so that leaves worker or neighbour, are they pointing their finger at bs and using the psychologist to psyche him out, in my opinion, hes playing a game, a cunning old man, taunting investigators, he has a long history of dubious behaviour, hes friends with known paedophiles, his brother in law a murderer and paedo, his historic child rape, the investigation into his care of his foster children, im sure the police have a longer list, im hoping bs doesnt have friends in high places and untouchable?
the worker or neighbour scenario could be both, neighbour lurking and bs or associate doing the drive by when alerted.
also still wondering about someone else close to bs having involvement, maybe someone who has a criminal history and associated with like minded people in prison, wonder if bs is covering for him?

I get the distinct impression the perpetrator is someone who lives or works close by or in the general town area because of this comment. Every cell in my body screams they know who is responsible and these comments are directed to them.

* Jubelin & his team are working to find William alive.

* If William was deceased the strategy would be completely different. ie a reward for information etc

* The puppet master orchestrating all of this, has now become the puppet thanks to Jubelin

* Everything bit of information and every article has a silent "Dear POI" at the beginning, but the public are reading in general terms.

* Every single move now more than ever is being calculated and executed swiftly and when the other shoe drops, its going to drop hard heavy and fast.

*Jubelin must be exhausted!

Agree with everything you wrote that I bolded (plus the rest, but especially the bolded). Admittedly I have been thinking for a while that poor William is deceased but now I'm not so sure. The language would be different if he was not alive.

The most recent audio interview seemed to imply he came home and found out, but it wasn't said explicitly.

that's what I thought as he arrived home ...that's why they thought William must have gone to the driveway...to greet dad as he was expected home soon

Just my own opinion ...but I think Williams abduction was not by a complete stranger there would have had to have been too many variables.....to me it was pure chance that he was playing in the yard and went out of sight to the driveway

Police would like to speak to a man who may be able to help. He is described as being aged in his early 40s, tall, and with a grey goatee.

The vehicle in the incident is described as a new white Toyota 4WD, possibly a Hilux model, with a canopy, and a blue zig-zag sticker with numbers over the front wheel arch.

No me either. I think sometimes people see what they want to see, which makes it hard to keep tabs on the reality in all this.

I understand people want BS to be guilty, he's the only face we have to a shadowy pedo ring that may or may not exist.

But if he is innocent, and an unfortunate victim of circumstance and a completely irresponsible media and irrational social media, then that won't help WT... it may even work against him.

I keep getting a scenario in my head of two people going to a nearby property in Benaroon drive and buying drugs. They use them in the car with the windows down and crash out. Something happens in the interaction between WT and those 2 cars the next morning, (they accidently knock him over?), not only are they going to get done for using or driving under the influence but also culpable driving, panic and take him. The owner whose place they went to won't come forward because of his own illegal activity wonders if they might have had something to do with it. He may have thought they had driven off straight after the deal and not know until now that they actually stayed parked close to the front of his house. He feels very unsettled by WT disappearance and puts his house on the market. Theory only. MOO

William’s father was called on a mobile phone. He raced home to help.

If you mean Williams bike there were pictures of it in the carport.
I have wondered where the bike may have been found - the children had been riding in the driveway when Mum saw the car do the u-turn.

Yes that's what confused me.

But that doesn't definitively mean he wasn't called as well. Maybe earlier on when she wasn't sure, and she just wanted him to come home without alarming him. Who knows?!

The media have reported this story so many different ways, the mistakes might not be attributable to the parents. And even if the parents have confused details, who could blame them under the circumstances. It was a crazy morning, and crazy coverage, and people always misremember.

If indeed he were contacted - then it seems very reasonable to me that he would have been looking on the drive home.
Is he with you? Doesn't seem an unreasonable question for a frantic Mum to ask.

I get the same feeling...that William may indeed still be alive and hopefully they have an idea of who may have taken him or who may be involved but as to his whereabouts now????....I really hope this is the case
