Wasn't AJ supposed to be sentenced today? He no longer appears to be on the courts list?

  • #523
No me either. I think sometimes people see what they want to see, which makes it hard to keep tabs on the reality in all this.

I understand people want BS to be guilty, he's the only face we have to a shadowy pedo ring that may or may not exist.

But if he is innocent, and an unfortunate victim of circumstance and a completely irresponsible media and irrational social media, then that won't help WT... it may even work against him.

Everything comes down to personal interpretation. Perhaps smirk may be too strong a word, but there was definitely a "look"

Sosocurious the foster father was first told when he had driven up and into the garage, he was not phoned, he said he went frantic at that point, also the dispatcher, put a call out about William going missing at 1030 am, the first attending officer saw the mum outside near the street and then found dad inside the house, the first attending officer was approximately 4klm away from house when he first got the call, it would only be that the media has made a mistake about the father getting any phone calls that his son was missing...

  • #527
If the dad didn't notice any vehicles parked where the mother saw them while in the yard prior to William going missing that would mean the vehicles arrived after the dad went to wherever he went for his work related skype call. That would of been between approx. 9:00am until William went missing at around 10:30am, so about an hour to an hour and a half, because they were no longer there after William was gone i assume?

It's also possible mother phoned father, he didn't answer and she left a message on the mobile which he hadn't yet seen. (Edit: or heard.)

If he was on an important work related call he probably wouldn't have answered her call i would imagine?

Just a quick thought about the idea of "opportunism" and the heaps of random things that had to fall together for this to work... The thing is that whoever is responsible might have been waiting for this opportunity for YEARS. The idea that this one event all just fell into place doesn't seem as far fetched if you think about it that way. The perp might have watched hundreds of children, made hundreds of random comments, car detours, changes of route, etc etc and this time it just came together.... In that sense its really bad luck for William, but maybe more perseverance than luck for the perp....

Wouldn't these monsters have poor impulse control though? If they couldn't snatch one child they'd just move onto another

I'm not sure about that, I think that's probably the case in some situations. In others cases self-preservation, knowing when to abandon an attempt would be paramount. Lot's of smart pedos never get caught.

It seems to us that the situation is too unlikely to be opportunistic, but that's because we're focused on William, this case, this circumstance. But if we're talking about someone who is constantly and vigilantly looking for an opportunity... well how many little boys or girls do you see wander a bit far away while their parents are on the phone etc...

I'm not saying I necessarily think that's the case here, I just wanted to make a point about what "opportunistic" could mean when you're talking about someone who is constantly looking for an opportunity...

Anything is possible.
The mention of Dad being called on a mobile was in an early msn article.

P: When did you guys last see him?
M: That morning, on the 12th at Mum’s place.
D: About 10.15am.
........................

D: I had a meeting and I arrived back and there was a bit of confusion if William was with me, because he’s always looking out for me and my car, and I was on my way back, and I’d arrived back and been asked if William was with me and I said no, then I immediately got out of the car and started looking around, and within 5 minutes we raised the alarm and I think I ran the perimeter of the whole street within about 10-15 minutes, and I mean, he wouldn’t, he’s not a wanderer, he wouldn’t even cross the street by himself. He wouldn’t go far.

Part 2 of 60 minutes interview at 1:26

The first officer on the scene ran into the mum on the street. She was obviously upset.
Chris gets the family back to the house - to have a look inside.
This is where he meets the father.

What time did Mum place the call to BS I wonder?
Phone records would give exact times to the second. imo

Possibly the Pedo was watching children at the bus stop and then go off to a quiet area, then had the urge to grab any child which was William.

Talking about opportunity...it did occur to me that someone knew they were going to the graveyard. They would be gone for a decent amount of time (would they walk? Im not sure if Grandma wasn't well) and the house was being watched for THAT reason (to burgle it)...then the opportunity of a small boy running down to the watching vehicle and maybe even calling out thinking his dad was inside might have presented the opportunity for a crime of a completely different nature. Thieves are thieves if there is money to be made and throw into the mix the drug element and you do start to wonder.

Is it clarified somewhere when the FM's sister arrived and whether she stayed at the house?

(I'm not suggesting she is involved, btw).

Sorry to quote myself but I just wanted to add.

According to Colin

On the morning William disappeared BS was supposed to be at the house to do the repairs ......he could not get nanna on the phone.

So he went to the school function and at the "crucial time" they were having coffee at the Buzz Cafe.

Man "at cafe" when William disappeared.
Jan 23 2015

I assume the crucial time he is referring is 10:15 to 10:30.
Phone records so precise.
With Williams mum ringing BS and BS ringing Nanna's house, the electronic footprint will be telling....pings
imo

If you listen to the first half of the recent radio interview, the FM said that she opened curtains, or blinds early in the morning, and noticed the two cars. She said she could clearly see them, and had anyone been in the cars, they could have seen her. I imagine this is when she first woke up. (?)

In the BS youtube video it's interesting how he calls it the Tyrrell home. He would know that is not the family name, Maybe he is helping protect families identity too.

I guess he is using the name that the public would understand otherwise people might not know who he is talking about given that everyone is looking for W "Tyrrell". Also, perhaps legal reason he is not allow to disclose non-public info of the family other name.
