This link is behind a paywall. Have you copy and pasted from the article or have you paraphrased?

I copy/pasted and i don't know why you are getting the behind paywall, as i had no trouble getting the info. online.

  • #823
Yeah but the murderer and child molestor that had contact with those girls was imprisoned and there was no evidence BS did anything to them. It was his brother in law who did that.

BBM.

I asked for a link to where it states that Hillsley committed the sexual offences that BS is charged with. Hillsley was never arrested and charged. This will all play out in court very soon. If it is your opinion that Hillsley is guilty of these historical offences, just state that it is your opinion, not that it is fact.

That sounds like testimony by the defense rather than a statement of fact.

But wouldn't there be documentation about BS being investigated and cleared seeing the seriousness of the crime, and it would be easily retrievable i would think?

Well I am getting a paywall and will have to remove your copy and paste. Are you able to paraphrase the article please with relevance to Hillsley being guilty of the historic sex offences that BS is charged with.

If it were so clear that BS had nothing to do with these past crimes I doubt the police would have filed charges.

Well i would think all of this information on BS will be brought up in court on these charges from 30 years ago, and yes we will see it played out in court. If there was nothing to charge him with back then as the Justice stated the Crown has a very weak case. But we will see how it pans out i guess.
And yes, from what i have read so far about all of this it is IMO.

So why did Justice Bewell state it is a weak case against BS then? Police charge people all the time, but it is the court and jury that decides guilt or not.

Im biting my tongue for more reasons than one.

It looks like they have used the rubber Jigzy? Its done with a digitizer over a street view image? They have used a particular brush style with some 70% opacity over the Streetview image?

Oh hell, are you suggesting what I think you might be?

1st comment.

No, you are incorrect. I have taught Photoshop for over a decade. The layer opacity slider means exactly transparency of that layer. Nothing to do with colours, simply how visible that layer is!
I stand corrected thank you. I guess I need lessons. Putting that aside, I dont think a pro graphic artist would keep the car transparent for the final version just because it matches the colour. The way I interpret it is 'transparent car' = 'similar to this' and 'real photo wheels' = 'near match'. As previous discussed, it appears to be a pretty good description. I certainly wouldn't be able to descibe my own car to that detail...so do they know?

Fact is he has been charged, he is going to court. Must be something there....

No evidence? How about the testimony of the victim? No one was ever found guilty of raping those girls as it never went to court. BS's association with his sicko brother in law can be read two ways: either poor BS just happened to be accused of this other guy's crime, or gee isn't it convenient being a part of a paedophile ring ... your depraved mates are on hand as scapegoats.

Whatever we might think about BS doesn't make it a fact. That's why we have a legal system, and a court and judge & jury. It's innocent until proven guilty, and i certainly have no idea about BS but will wait for the court to make their judgement. In the interim i am just speculating about it all.

Yet you seem to have decided that he is not guilty and that his brother in law is and have then presented this as fact, which is the reason you probably feel as though a few of us are jumping down your throat. Of coursr, none of us can say for sure whether or not BS is guilty. He might just have some kind of extraordinarily weird karma to be accidentally implicated in two horrific crimes in his lifetime. Let's just see how it all plays out and hope for the best possible outcome.

As the Police/Media have recently said; Someone needed to go down that Cul De Sac on that day. A tradie, lawn mower person, curtain fitter, Gas/ more so electricity reader, maybe someone buying a horse float, tractor, or a bit of machinery or tyres even.. Someone did have to drive down that cul de sac on that day, it`s as simple as that...

Or just a white goods repairman ;) and his despicable friend.

Ive never taught Photoshop; you are correct.

I've taught PS for 20 years and you are correct.

Are they chrome hubcaps? Who puts on high chrome hubcaps?

Maybe new evidence, maybe a new witness, that we have not heard about yet.
Lots of historical abuse cases in the media in the months prior to BS arrest .... some we didn't even hear about.
AJ was behind bars awaiting sentence yesterday. I wonder what happened with that, other than his name being suppressed again.
Is he still a POI?
Surely BS and AJ were not in the same prison, being ex - neighbours and all. Could that happen?

I have not decided if BS is guilty or not, but i like to deal with the facts of what we know to date as much as i can in this case. And to me there is doubt as to BS's guilt or innocence, i just don't know at this point what to think about him. And it is not our decision what the outcome of this is, that will be for the legal eagles in court.
It is also not nice to jump down anyone's throat when people offer different opinions because no one knows at this stage what is what yet, IMO. How would people feel if BS is actually innocent and have called for his lynching, that's not good either. If he took William he deserves to be prosecuted by the full extent of the law if and when that might happen.

Something but I think it's fair to say not guilt yet.

I have no idea about that.
