yes i agree, the urgency is no longer there which makes me wonder if they no longer believe hes alive sadly, but i also saw the fb mention and really hope this is a possibility, there is so much more to this i wish we knew!

Does anyone else feel a lack of urgency from LE in this case? To me LE is either of the opinion that, sadly, William is no longer alive or that William is safe but they are unaware of his location. The information released by William's family regarding what William likes and doesnt like seemed to be aimed at a person who was caring for him but doesnt know him very well. I am of the opinion that this was not an abduction by pedos but an abduction by someone who feels they have a right to have William in their care. I seem to remember reading on one of the facebook groups way back in the beginning that there is a connection between William's bio family and BS family. My post will probably be deleted for mentioning facebook rumours but the person who wrote the post was confident that they knew the connection and, indeed, had seen a photo showing the connection.

I saw it to Louise and it always remains in the forefront of my mind.
T'was too closed for comfort IMO.
We have to remain within the rules of WS and what the police are telling us. :silenced:

He once lived not far from grandma. Wasn't there talk earlier about William having been at a street Christmas party there? (Back when we were discovering that it wasn't William's first trip to grandma's, even though it had been reported as such early on.)

Here is a reference to a few Christmas parties on that block, where everyone is invited. I'm not sure why we thought William could have been at one of them. Perhaps we were speculating? Or was it mentioned in another article?

"We have had a couple of Christmas parties on the next door neighbour's block and everyone is invited. But you don't spend your life looking at what other people are doing."

There was this SA.

Locals recalled seeing William and his family at a neighbourhood Christmas event the previous December.

Lydene Heslop, who also lives nearby, said while the family was not well-known to locals, the entire community had been affected by William’s disappearance.
“We didn’t really take notice of strange cars before because that’s not how we lived, but now we take notice of everything.”

Thank you BearBear, that is a most interesting read, great recap, and pretty much brought me to tears.

little Man, I pray you are happily at peace, whatever that form may take.

And for your loving parents, I pray for ... perhaps the word is 'comfort' .. I have no words really that will adequately describe my wishes.
I delivered a stillborn daughter, the whole situation almost destroyed me, and I had to fight so hard for my sanity & to come back to full functionality (I doubt anyone who knows me has any idea or understanding of that challenge)

So, I cannot even begin to imagine what Williams parents are going through - they had this little man in all his wonderful physical being - yet to grieve, at all times having to be mindful of the impact of your emotions on the other siblings - yes, I experienced (and it is important to understand that grief is personal and everyone should feel safe to handle and deal with in their own way) I just wish I could remove their pain.

Thanks soso.
And just another ever-ongoing thought ...... who is the sex offender who was 'living on the street'? Remember that too? That could be within 'walking distance' perhaps.

Article from November 2014

Police have also looked up known child sex offenders within a massive radius of Kendall with nothing to grab at.

So what has made them connect DH to William since he was a local?

In his first interview since taking charge of the investigation this month

Detectives searching for the person who snatched three-year-old William Tyrrell plan to track the movements of everyone who was within a kilometre of the home from which he disappeared five months ago.
The dramatic shift in the investigation, likely to involve questioning hundreds of people as well as analysing CCTV footage, financial transactions and phone data, reflects the fact that police now believe he was abducted.

As yet, the search has not gone interstate. “We’re looking at it almost like a ground zero investigation,” said Inspector Jubelin, who took over following the retirement of the previous lead detective
on February 2.

19 Feb 2015 - that is the day PB returned to Port Macquarie court and received his 16 month suspended sentence... just another coincidence ...?

I can't remember if this was posted. The pervert pianist's house was raided in May 2015.

Police must have kept it low key. I wonder why the raids on BS were so visible?

maybe bs was outed so publicly as a poi because he was the only one who had actual contact with the grandmother and a legitimate excuse for being there, maybe police believe he is the one who took william and passed hm or his images on to these other men? and as police dig deeper into this ring they are discovering more people involved and checking phones and computers etc? a lot of computer images etc will have been deleted but police forensics know how to find it and much smarter than these dirty old men!

Or hearing distance. The Wilsons next door heard the children playing and yelling so others would have heard the early morning sounds.

The sounds of those children playing would be attactive like blowflies are attracted to *****.

with so many registered and very likely unregistered sex offenders in the kendall area, i wonder how many were living close as neighbours to the grandmothers house, and if they are part of a ring do they know bs, it would be easy for the abductor to arrange a grab if there was a neighbour nearby to help and possibly hide their target.
and why did bs wipe records of his phone messages that day?
also wonder if or how gma knew bs, did they meet at a foster support function or christmas party where the children were playing.

I saw the connection too but don't believe it's close enough to warrant any real evidence. 100 degrees of separation. I think it's far fetched.

OFF TOPIC: Is anyone interested in opening a thread here for KAREN CHETCUTI Missing Victorian Mother-of-two from WHOROULY south of Wangaratta. Her neighbour who is a convicted rapist released from jail in July last year was last person to speak to her. Her burnt car has been found and police are waiting to speak to him.

That Poor woman. This just makes me want to scream. Convicted rapist let out of jail?! Of course they go back out and re-offend, they know they will just get let right back out again. Same for the pedo's. So many lives lost and ruined forever. Sick.

And even some pedos admit themselves that they are tempted. How on earth can our legal system let out people like this!!!!!!

Perhaps if we'd had a better, stronger system in the past and still in the present, little William might still be with us.
