Our sweet Makara isn't our mod any longer. I'm hoping she is kicking back enjoying a well deserved break.
I'm missing her valuable input.

I miss Makara too. I can understand taking a break, though. I've been away for several months and it was good stop thinking about the pond scum in this world for a while. I feel for our police who can't.

Is anyone having issues with WS site continually redirecting to spam app download page? I can't use the Full Site anymore. Mobile version seems ok though.

Nope been fine for me, albeit often quite slow to load the content (ie I'll get the page heading, menus, yellow alert/news bar, then animation for ages while it loads the actual posts). No spam redirects though. Grab the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-malware (or similar) and do a complete scan on your PC in case some browser exploits have snuck onto your PC. Mostly fine to clear/remove anything it finds (though it alerts you about any/all cookies, which can be innocuous enough unless you hate the whole idea of anything tracking your internet habits).

I still check here every day, and the new sites, in the hope something will break in this case. It must be coming soon, surely... This case has absolutely wrecked me at times (as such cases do now I'm a dad, especially considering my son's now the same age William was when he disappeared), and it and little William are never far from my mind.

Unbelievable that so many pedos belonged to that group, and must have had grandkids in their care.

The other group was called the Grandparent and Kinship Care Association.

Jones also lived in Wellington at some point and Spedding ran a pawn shop there too.

Community groups often form spin off groups especially if there is discourse amongst the ranks (think People's Front of Judea, Judean People's Front). Often you will find the same people are members of more than one similar sort of group. If GAPA claim BS is not a member, it would be interesting to know if any of the other POIs have ever been members of GKCA.

Didn't one of the other articles say that Spedding belonged to a different grandparent organization? No coffee yet this morning but I swear I recall that. I need to go back and read that particular thread.

I do remember us discussing how Spedding and Jones were neighbors and soon after Jones moved and GAPA was set up in Port Macquarie, Spedding moved that way.

You're right Krig101, I found an article yesterday saying GAPA denied BS was part of their organisation, but said he was part of "another family support group nearby". The only other family support group I can find mentioned in the media (in regards to the William investigation) is a group called Grandparent and Kinship Care Association.

Yes I've read the same thing. Something lead the police to question BS's involvement in the group though (if any) I wonder what?. Just a thought.

It upsets me when I see William articles being shared on social media in the last hour which turn out to be old. My heart jumps, thinking there is a breakthrough, before seeing the date and that it is, in fact, old news.

I'm the same as you, always checking for news. I have a 4 yo boy. Lots of birthday parties with Spider-Man costumes. Playgrounds full of kids having fun. I always take a second look at that person sitting in a car, or hanging around for no apparent reason......

Yes, it's been happening for me. There's a thread in Forum Finnesse. The only thing that fixes it is disabling JavaScript.

Can someone please supply the name of the grandparent support group that BS was a part of and refer me to anywhere online where it shows AJ and PB were members of the same group as BS?

They were not in the same group. Only AJ and PB.

YES Richieswan. Drives me insane. It's something to do with a dodgy advert. It only does it on the occasional page and the only way around it is to just skip that entire page and move onto the next.

There are about 20 people on the child protection register in the area where William Tyrrell disappeared. According to News Corp all have been interviewed but not all of their properties have been searched.

I've always felt like the police have missed something or someone early on in the case. I wish they would re interview everyone and repeat the searches. Just a feeling.
