It is a small town. The house across the road had just a television and a lack of furniture suggesting people who hadn't long term intentions. Probably to some degree transient with a few visitors. The abduction point was classic multiple exits with plenty of cover.
While I was told to cease and desist from connecting Kharlies incident with NSW it was soon realised that the case was very interstate. The one common denominator here is Cessnock where prisoners network, and they all know why they are there. A man with a 100 mobiles phones, all with different unique identifiers still easily used to access communications via Cafe WIFI etc. I'm not saying Khandalyce case is connected, but my very real point is the capacity for networks to communicate in a dynamic way in this day and age with those that meet and connect out of prison.
While someone may not have directly abducted someone, they had the ability to communicate with others using dozens of discarded devices without detection of who they are. There is no reason why a target couldn't have been communicated to another being anyone from say example Cessnock prison to carry out a task, whether they are a child predator or not.
Lets face it, desperate people will do anything in order to acquire drugs these days. Once spotted, it would have been easy to communicate that William had arrived.
The street was a soft target for abduction. Houses set back from the street, lots of cover, and multiple exits. The cemetery being one. It would not have been hard to lead William away through open yards into several options of escape. It was a prime abduction location. The risk was much lower than that in areas of higher density housing, higher population.
I don't think William went back down the main street. I think William went through the cemetery exit, or down a forest track. To drive straight back up the street was a period of low traffic, and residents at home. But driving down the street would be immediately identifiable. People do tend to ignore service vehicles though, especially if seen prior.
These guys know each other, hundreds of them. A prime example is, the six men in Perth busted last year working together.
This was preplanned, and executed with precision when the time was right. It is why we haven't seen William again.
