Did anyone find the full length video? Although the duration says 21 mins it actually goes for 8 mins. Was there a longer version once?

Just getting back to the comment when the police asked when they last saw WT. Why would the FF reply for the mother about when she last saw him. Why would he not just say the last time he saw WT? Maybe they are just used to talking for each other. MOO

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/william-b...hild-sexual-assault-case-20160907-grako8.html

William "Bill" Spedding will fight to have allegations he sexually assaulted two children thrown out of court.
The mid-north coast whitegoods repairman submitted a bid for a stay on proceedings in the Campbelltown District Court late on Tuesday.

The move to have the case dismissed was made as it emerged a police interview with Mr Spedding, in which he denied the allegations, had been lost.

Thanx sleep. I think this refers to the original interview may back when it first occurred ??

This is the problem with digital media IMO. They can go back and alter or change things.
Can't do that with good old print media....

What I meant by the Lakewood scenario, was that given the details that we know of about WT's disappearance, it seems the most realistic out of all the scenarios being offered IMO. Having said that, when I hear the voices in the interviews of the FP's, I think he was abducted. It is contradictory I know. I have thought about a scenario of a child meeting with an accident, but forensically, I think that would have been discovered sooner than now....Mind you, the 1st detectives were not on the scene until about 2.30pm and it is unknown if the house and surrounds were treated as a crime scene until they got there. That's 4 hours of people walking around that property. I am going by gut feeling now for what it's worth and when I feel there is dishonesty in a situation, for whatever reason, I want to probe. It may be information that the police has been given, but is omitted in the retelling to the public. Besides the parents having a version of what happened that morning, it might be helpful to publish the FGM's version of events or what WT's sister said at that time. I wonder about things like, did a relative or friend pop over that morning and leave before WT disappeared, and it being deemed not necessary to be made public. The logic being why drag them through it when it's obvious they are not involved. I wonder if WT's foster parents developed a relationship with members of WT's bio family outside the policies of FACS and met up, only to have him taken, and believing that the other child might be removed from them, were dishonest about that.... A lot of the interviews seem to be about PR for this couple who were devoted to this child who was a really good boy and he would be horrified to find himself with anyone else. The FM has chastised the public in interviews about moments of that morning she wants to keep private and not share with the world which is reasonable, however there is a certain level of arrogance I detect when she says this as this is an abduction and every detail could have significance. MOO

interesting & sound thoughts, thanks Froggie.

We have heard any number of 'opinions & suggestions', and I hope Det Jubelin at least has the full story.

Perhaps FM & FF spoke in a bid to get answers & placate the public, as they could perhaps 'present the story & follow the guidelines required'.

FGM & SIster may hold the real information but it would be detrimental to the plan to have that in the public arena - just my own thoughts as I puzzle over this horror story..

The story from Caroline Overington, respected reporter in the Australian Womens Weekly, stating that "WHY WE'LL NEVER HEAR THE TRUTH ABOUT WILLIAM TYRRELL" is very disturbing?......MOO...:dunno:

I would like to know why FM almost immediately felt it was an abduction right from the start......What is she not telling?.......the missing link to this puzzle?....MOO:..dunno:

I think a very sad effect of the times we live in, is that ' you just do '.

We had an experience when my grandson was maybe 4. He was playing with the slightly older neighbour at front of their units (in a far end area) and all 3 adults happened take their eyes off, go inside for a minute, go the other garden for a minute etc - and suddenly he was not there. We called, we looked, we called, we searched, we asked the other child, we tore threw both units, we became frantic. I would say we were a finger away from calling the police with 'abduction' uppermost in our minds, even tho no one had mentioned the words.

A very frustratedly & franticly yelled ' XX you come out here now! This is not a joke anymore. The game is over. I am so worried about you. I will have to call the police and tell them someone has taken you so they can find you quickly' - SUDDENLY out of this huge cardboard box arrangement popped up XX !! And we thought we had checked, looked, shaken that box so many times, but he remained hidden and silent.

I'm just giving my own personal experience of how quickly one jumps to the 'abduction' scenario.

I am not suggesting this happened with William, and much as my mind can go to all sorts of places and scenarios, I keep remembering, no trace of William was found past the garden driveway.

Was that Sniffer Dogs? I am presuming the whole perimeter of the yard was checked for traces. . and IMO the absence of would suggest he didn't walk out of that yard..

This version was also posted above, and seems to be the full audio, but some of the photography of William's parents has been replaced with footage of William.

Thanks Frogs and JLZa

I'm thinking William's mother went to help his sister who went to the toilet. Rather than go into that, she said that she made a cup of tea.

And perhaps then grandma thought to get a cup of tea ...

Sydney’s child cold cases: Police working to solve disappearance of 16 children in NSW

In 2003, Brian James Fitzpatrick, who was previously convicted for indecent assault, was subpoenaed to appear before Renee’s inquest but he died in a car crash weeks before the hearing.

Recently, detectives also questioned paedophile Michael Guider, the man jailed over the killing of nine-year-old Samantha Knight, after one of his former jail mates told police that he repeatedly sketched pictures of a child he called Renee.

But any hopes of a breakthrough were dashed when Guider reportedly denied, categorically, any involvement in Renee’s death during a police interview.

How tragic for the parents: first suspect dies in car crash, second denies - forever no solution. Hopefully WT's parents will not have to endure something like that.

I wonder what prompted your thoughts FromGermany. .. I was intrigued in the outcome of BS brief appearance today to hear that 'some witnesses are now deceased' which is apparently to be expected in historical proceedings (my wording!) I just wonder - Who is deceased & to what were they a Witness ? Witness is (IMO) a pretty big tag to wear..

Reporter says incidents occurred in a caravan park. Thought it was a caravan at a residential property? As everyone has said above the inaccuracies with the media on anything to do with this is quite shocking actually. I understand in the beginning when a chid might first be missing and everything frantic. I recall hearing on the news when he first went missing that FM and FGM were inside and sister went in to use the toilet when William disappeared. Then it turned to tea etc etc. So many omissions and poetic licence and heavy editing of interviews. It is all over the place. I really hate how in some articles they add in quotes but don't say when they were actually from, they write them like it is a new quote from someone but in actual fact was from previous interviews sometimes months/years ago. Frustrating!

Hi Froggie, you sure do a great job. I have wondered soften snout the 'gap' in attendance, and then wondered about the 'brothers' - the FM says that her brothers brought their children up around there (Kendall, I assume), running those streets without any fear. Do the brothers still live in the area

i can't help but wonder at how they achieve the anonymity ..

At 1:36 - I can hear a naaa from mum.

Yes, but I'm sure the first link I posted had visuals right the way through when I watched it not long ago. I'm certain I noticed William's Mum's head turn (in silhouette) toward his Dad when she said 'No.' as it piqued my interest.

Did anyone find the full length video? Although the duration says 21 mins it actually goes for 8 mins. Was there a longer version once?

There is a 9 news link here:

but you first have to downloaad an app to watch it. I haven't done that yet so I don't know if it shows all the visual of the parent's silhouettes.

Thanks for the tipoff, bb. I wonder if it will be Michael Diamond?

a lot of evidence would have been trampled over in those frantic first minutes and if he was abducted by someone living nearby, easily hidden if unconscious, or driven quietly from the area, there will be someone out in that community with a gut feeling, too scared to come forward, it would be quite hard to pluck up courage to call police just because you had noticed drag marks across the lawn that day or your partner was gone for hours without explanation and the car vacuumed etc, especially 2 years later!

Thank you BearBear, I agree re the possible destruction of immediate evidence - however I will say "Why the F$): NOT" in response to the suggested excuse of 'oh I'm scared so I won't say anything'.

Now I am speaking to anyone with a quandary over the situation ..

... And I can't be any gentler than to say - Wake Up - Wake Up -IF there is even a HINT, if it fleets across your mind, if you have questions - Trust In You and in Your Instincts. There is no reason to be afraid of speaking up. Everything you say will be anonymous - unless it becomes bigger - in which case you will be safety assured .
Think about the person who could / would do this . There are no boundaries here - even the most hardened criminals in our jails have no time or regard for those who commit crimes against our children.

WHY would you turn a blind eye, why would you excuse ? Why would you harbour, why would you honour, why would your feed, why would you enable ...

And and because You Do and because You Have, YOU are also guilty of this preposterous & unacceptable violation of this child and also of his family.

Yep, all this is simply my opinion in the scheme of, and in recognition of, the Websleuth's rules, but I challenge YOU to test it, and to see how it play out - Wake Up !

You are absolutely correct Bo. This video shows the silhouettes all the way through.
