Not necessarily but any scenario is risky. I haven't really considered the carport side recently but I will again.

As for a 'paid abduction' via a PI, the recent attempt in Lebanon where a 60 Minutes reporter, etc, were jailed temporarily may be some guide. That type of thinking, for me at least, requires I don my tinfoil hat. A hardened criminal, on the other hand; possible.

Is it tinfoil hat though? There are obviously a number of kids living with people other than their parents in this whole scenario. There are at least 2 groups in this Mid north coast area we know of that are dedicated to grandparents or kin caring for kids that are not their immediate children. It would seem to me quite a common discussion that could be had at these groups about kids living with people who are not considered to be the right people. I would not be at all surprised if there were people who decided to take the law into their own hands on these matters. It happened in my own family and the kids were taken safely by their own grandparents and continued to live with them. It could be that some people may even 'offer' to help people to 'retrieve' or 'rescue' kids for people. Some people will do anything for money and a small town like Kendall, perhaps it didnt take long for info to be passed on that a certain kid was going to be in a certain area at a certain time. Regardless of who knew or didn't know when the kids were supposed to arrive at Kendall, it was common knowledge they were coming at some time that weekend. Could be that someone was there, carefully scouting around (after being told the kids would be there on the weekend) and suddenly opportunity presented itself. So, opportunistic yes, but also planned.

Trying to think of the case, but a guy was recently apprehended and found to have supplies to commit rapes in his car, ready to go whenever he found a victim.*

Yes it can be made using acetone and bleach. A child could overdose on it easily though so it's risky. There was a lot of discussion about it here in the tragic Caylee Anthony case.

I was thinking more about a registered PI, Inspector. Crim; yes. Grandparents or extended family members; yes. Parent activist groups, eg; f4joz (see f4j UK crazies); mebbe. Just thinking about most likely perpetrator and trying to keep it simple. My tinfoil hat is just about worn out anyway *folds jaunty new design*

Recently, I'm not sure if it was on 60 Minutes, I didn't catch the whole story in which the GM friend was being interviewed, she has a similar vehicle to the one that was spotted outside the house on the day WT disappeared, she also knows 1 or 2 of the men mentioned and questioned by police, I haven't seen anymore about this, I'm sure something in her story was conflicting. The GM and her friend were or are looking to buy a house together. I'm interested to know if anyone watched the GM reaction to the accusation, maybe I was reading too much into it..
I find it difficult to believe that this abduction was just random, then remembering the case about the man that was killed in Sydney, in which many of us thought it must have been one of his lovers, or someone very close, angry and upset with him. The killer turned out to be someone not even associated to him, a geeky chef kid.

The foster family and bio family were ALL CLEARED very early into William's disappearance. Because of complicated family history, no family members could be identified or speak to the media. Why was Natalie Collins (bio grandmother) allowed to give her interview earlier this year and now all of a sudden has been declared a person of interest along with KL in the disappearance of William. Could someone please explain that, as it seems to be contradictory to me (as all family members, foster & bio, were cleared within the first few days ???...TIA.

If blanket and boot, the child would undoubtedly be screaming at the top of his lungs, and surely would have been noticed somewhere along the 'escape route'? Unless of course... chloroform. With some minor adaption one could turn a washing machine into a gas chamber. Air tight lid over drum could be disguised as packaging during transport. Hoses connected to some knockout gas etc.

Yes it was referred to the coroner but he's not investigating it actively. Yet. It's time though. It's just not acceptable (imo) for a child to go missing without a single trace for two years in a highly developed first world country in 2016.
