Is anyone alarmed at the amount of attempted child abductions in new south wales this year. Google child abduction attempts new south wales.
"William Tyrrell may be one of the country's highest profile unsolved missing children cases, but there are concerns the million-dollar reward won't see justice.
A former police chief told Daily Telegraph the government's plans to boost cold case payment rewards wouldn't catch any more criminals.
With hundreds of families wanting answers, former police assistant commissioner John Laycock said increasing unsolved homicide cases to $1 million wouldn't solve the murders.

Hello, this is my first posting here. I have read that the bio father, Brendan William Collins, is 36, the man of similar name in the article is 21.
Have I read somewhere that William's foster parents were renovating their Sydney house at time of William's abduction? Could it be possible the abduction is actually connected to their Sydney address? Could pure evil have followed the family from Sydney to Kendall and laid in wait for their perfect opportunity.
Yes, immunity from prosecution seems to have achieved the desired outcome for the family of the victim in the high profile unsolved homicide case mentioned in the Daily Mail article. I was uneasy about that particular decision by the NSW Attorney-General but it gave the family the ability to lay their adult son to rest. However, in all conscience, I couldn't accept the same outcome in the case of a murdered child.

I have joined your community to read about William. He is never far from my thoughts and I hope and pray that the wee soul is safe somewhere and one day will be found, alive and well.
That was a very tough decision for the parents, wasn't it? They knew who the killer was, he had slipped out of facing punishment for his crime one time already, he is living it up in Queensland, and the victim's mum wanted her boy back ... wanted to lay him to rest properly, have a place to go and sit with him and honour him, after almost 10 years of waiting.
As the victim's dad said .... karma will visit the killer.
And some top legals have said that if any compelling new evidence ever turns up, Atkins could be charged with murder and face prosecution, despite the immunity deal.
Can Atkins face further charges?
Yes, but police must find "fresh and compelling evidence" they allege links Mr Atkins to Mr Leveson's death due to the state's double jeopardy laws.

Lots of people know who the FPs are. The Kendall locals all knew. The FGM was very active in the community. This is the issue with keeping the foster family anonymous.
There is no opportunity for someone out there to join the dots. Like, "X knows foster dad and saw him in town a half-hour before WT went missing" or "Y is a dodgy character, why is he so familiar with WT's foster Mum?", or "Z works at McDonalds and seemed to know the foster family when they passed through that day"
Stuff like that is totally missing. Because the public don't know the foster parents enough to join the dots. Context is missing.

I would think, too, that many people living where William resided would know who the foster family is. Once they saw pics of William in the media.
Someone made mention that a relative of the bios resided in Benaroon drive *TBC
Me either, I thought it was a relative of the BS clan imoNever heard that one before?

Grandpa had died and been buried. The FGM house was up for sale? WT had made a surprise visit a day earlier. FGMs birthday?
The white goods guy had made a visit the first day that WT and FPs had arrived? White goods guy was procuring a part for the washing machine to return for repair.
Whitegoods guy has distant connections with BGM through Scrappy guy who resided in a previous town where they had moved to FGMs town.
FF had gone to make a video conference call as the mobile phone reception for data calls was poor. Also poor mobile phone tower connectivity.
WT went missing mid morning when everyone was on the way to, or at school and work during a working week when most people wouldn't be around.
The properties have no back fences with full view from the road. The neighbouring houses are set wide from neighbours and back from the property line. There is multiple exits for vehicles if needed with cover not excluding the cemetery to the rear of the house with escape route and major forest cover.
The no through road in country bordering on forest meant next to no traffic.
An abductors paradise with all the ducks in line.
This would more than likely be the last chance to get WT as FGM house to be sold.

I read in the news clips that the parents were from the North Shore in Sydney and one specifically mentioned Killara. Here is a quote from my search of is Killara a good suburb: "Killara is a great suburb for Families, Retiree's etc with its nice peacefull country feel. Green & Leafy and with fantastic schools. Killara is an affluent area and boasts large, beautiful homes. House prices between 1 - 15 Million. Median $1,500,000"
I think he had been to Grandma's before as there was a quote I saw that the family was at the previous neighbourhood Christmas party. So I think they were regular visitors and the report of it being his first visit may be incorrect.
His parents, I was told, live at Killara, on the upper north shore. They were described to me as “committed Christians and reasonably well off’.

"It's just a normal neighbourhood," resident Richard Wilson says.
"We have had a couple of Christmas parties on the next door neighbour's block and everyone is invited. But you don't spend your life looking at what other people are doing."

It was not William's first visit to the grandmother's house. Discussed and referenced in Thread 7.

The family had visited Kendall before, with locals recalling seeing them the previous December.
