hi guys. i hope my maps aren't putting people off - i'm best with 3d stuff, but not everyone is...

any other quandaries? any thoughts on little WT?

I feel if he's in this area (picnic area or middle bro) there needs to be more line searches.... it's very dense in there. I know the police are doing the best they can. who has the man power to do just that? no-one

i wonder if they are fixated on a pending confession? It's so hard when the victim isn't found - like Daniel M. extracting a confession out of Cowan was what it took to break Daniel's case, & it only happened once the inquest began. Cowan had been questioned previously & was thought to be not involved -- until the inquest

We know Rosann is in full swing, but with what? i think it could likely be their only avenue as everything else (like evidence already found) is apparently not enough... true?

I heard again this morn about some boiling water being dropped on Cowan's head in prison -- I can't say i felt much sympathy. just a bit of ouch but that's nothign compared to what he inflicted on Daniel & his other victims - a55hole. He'd done some incredibly horrible stuff

I have a odd feeling about the scrap metal detector...anyone else? I wonder who's vehicles he had access to when he was lookign for metal scraps? As far as i know there was no evidence in his usual vehicle, but the longer it is left between crime & seacrh of the vehicle (some time in this case) then the more likely that trace evidence can be dislodged & lost. upholstery fibres are quite stiff tho - and clingy. if it was him, he perhaps did not use his own car?

the scrap metallist could have used his own car -- but only by driving out onto batar creek rd, there's no other exit otherwise - unless he/or other/ had a proper 4wd - like the bronze one reported to exit into into the bush (cul-de-sac). bronze = gold = pewter, perhaps?

Well, I never thought I’d say it but, for now, I’m out of ideas. I got zip, zero, zilch, nada . . .

Poor wee William x

I got an idea - the 4wd seen leaving into the forest (cul-de-sac) at around 10.30. who saw it? No idea! I'm fixated on it actually... god, poor william indeed. This little kid needs an inquest... MOO

You mean the bronze one? The WSer who posted about it is still on ‘holiday’. I still have faith in DCI Jubelin and the members of SF Rosann I and II. I am sure that William’s inquest will be called when they reach the end of their investigations and have all the evidence they need to recover William and make sure his abductor and his/her partners-in-crime stay in prison for a long, long time.

That’s why the royal commission warned against workplaces putting too much confidence in working with children checks; a database can only list those who have been caught offending, not the many abusers who haven’t.

But there is one trait police keep seeing in the child sex offenders they meet. “A common denominator is actually charisma,” said Detective Chief

Forget Dennis Ferguson; the most dangerous paedophile is young, handsome and charming

I’m not too sure whether to thank you for that article or not. After seeing their faces, I’d like to beat the ‘youth, handsomeness and charisma’ right out of them, quite frankly. Although, forewarned is forearmed. *stomps off to give the heavy bag a kicking*

oh i get your drift! yes, normally they happen once completed... but it's taking a while for a confession... if that's what they are wanting. it does take time cause i'm sure the evil person is keeping his cards close to his chest. I'm sure he's aware of the morcombe case?? I hope they get him good :D

very interesting - i guess handsome equates somehow to approachability... i suspect, when i think about it, this may be even more true for children, as well as charisma of course? No idea. Just MOO. But a handsome face looks more trusting than an ugly one i guess... that rules out BS :D hahaha

Either he/she’s already incarcerated for something else and/or they have ‘eyes and ears’ on them at all times. Hopefully, they can’t change the colour of their underwear or sneeze without investigators seeing or hearing them.

The Devil in disguise.

I call them wolves in sheeps clothing. See them ALL the time. Most of us can’t see the disguise unfortunately mainly because we’d simply rather not. [emoji25]

Did William's sister have any recollection of that day? I assume she was hiding when he vanished?

What's the consensus on what happened to him? Five minutes seems like a small window of opportunity for a stranger to nab a child in a quiet cul-de-sac without anyone hearing or seeing anything. It's entirely possible that the mother underestimated the time-gap.

I read that the sniffer dogs lost William's scent at the end of the driveway? Was he quickly smuggled into the car, or did he - as some hypothesize- run to the driveway expecting his father?

Not a lot has been reported on what the little sister saw or did not see? Very vague.

William’s sister was with his grandmother at the back of the house. William ran down the side and ...

Consensus is that William was abducted. We think time may have been underestimated.

The sniffer dogs may have lost the scent because the surrounding areas were contaminated. The only thing we can think of is that William was taken in a car or possibly on foot for a short distance to a waiting car. His mother remembers calling out to William ‘Is Daddy here?’ or words to that effect but she doesn’t recall hearing a car. She said she could hear nothing, no birds, nothing.

I know the wolves from the sheep. They just don’t know that I can tell the difference. They can smell fear and vulnerability. Predators is an apt name for them and I ain’t no prey.

I wish I could too. I seem to run into them everywhere. I now assume they're all wolves just to be on the safe side.

I'm a little new to this thread but have been following little William's case since the beginning. What makes them think William is still alive? I recall a few months ago, a man was stopped at the airport for travelling with a child that resembled William. Do they believe William was trafficked?
