I just can't get past how quickly ALL the parents were cleared. Have LE ever thought of inviting some of the FBI to come here and do a independent investigation. I have heard of this happening in other countries. I personally have always found the foster parents and grandparent to be rather fishy. The whole dragging WT out of school for an out of the blue visit to grandma? The timing of the foster dad leaving to go into town for better phone reception? The grandmas ties to pedophiles? The timing of it all seems weird to me. According to the foster mum WT was around the front for 5 mins or less. So that means there was a tiny window of time for a bad guy or guys. To be driving down a dead end and grab him with virtually no sound. I just can't get past the odds of it all.

I think it's been ascertained that the FF did have to go elsewhere for a conference call. I don't think the trip was out of the blue, just one day earlier

Kim Loweke is from Wellington, where Bill Spedding lived for some years.
Kim shared a house with Debbie Gardoll (who was married to Tony Jones in the past).
Debbie's brother also shared a house with them at one stage.
Kim knows Bill in passing, from two interactions concerning a washing machine purchased for her daughter and a fix-it job for Kim. She has made a lot of this connection in the media, but it's about the same level of depth as my connection with a plumber who fixed my downpipes last week - a very tenuous link.
Tony Jones lived across the street from the Speddings in Wellington a long time ago, but they only spoke once when Tony's house burnt down and the Speddings gave them a cuppa and a blanket while the fire was being dealt with.
As for Tony's wife, she would certainly have known about various activities of her husband, perhaps excluding the sexual ones.

It amazes me how people keep saying this like they are multi millionaires. They had an old fibro house in an affluent suburb, probably purchased when they were younger - a good buy from a Real Estate point of view.

Now they have made additions and are probably mortgaged to the hilt, like many these days.

A 3 bedroom house in the Western Suburbs of Sydney is worth well over $1mil these days (my relatives sold over 12 months ago for more).

I know people that just bought a house for around the $1mil mark (not even in Sydney), they will pull the house down and build from scratch. They are not what I consider wealthy - they both work hard.

What is considered Wealthy these days?
