Yep, and it's called "lack of accountability" and lots of people do it. Look over there and don't look here, because people don't want to take responsibility for their actions when things go wrong. All IMO

Don’t bother looking any longer because William is dead.
Arghhhh

With the child was a woman with a chilling resemblance to someone police investigating three-year-old William's abduction had been interested in.

The photograph, captured in central Queensland, filled investigators with hope.
Detectives had finally found the little boy in the Spiderman suit whose disappearance had captivated Australia, they thought.

Yes but why would you consider yourself a suspect because someone in Queensland had a chilling resemblance to you...........unless of course ??

Because, like everything else about William’s disappearance, it’s all about her. DCI Jubelin has cleared Karlie, BC and the foster parents of any involvement in the investigation but not her. William’s FGM hasn’t been ‘cleared’ either. Could you see her giving an interview like this? Nup, me either. Totally bizarre behaviour.

I feel if NC made a call or popped in to headquarters and said I have information and want to give a statement. The police would say goodo ... when can you get her or is now OK.
imo

but if the info concerned those close to her she may be afraid of being seen as a dobber and easier if it was them coming to her formally?
or maybe its a strategy to get her to keep going to msm with these little snippets
or shes just craving acknowledgement and attention seeking?

She's taken POI as Suspect

Ms Collins had already been tagged as a person of interest in the investigation, a suggestion she strenuously disputes.

Why did they did up Spedding’s yard if he’s not a suspect??

On Wednesday, police dug up the yard of a tradesman’s home in the town of Bonny Hills and drained a septic tank.

They also seized a computer and single mattress from a unit in Laurieton, near Kendall, where the man once ran a pawnbroking business.

The tradesman, William Harrie Spedding, 63, has denied any involvement and police say he is not a suspect.

“It is a line of inquiry we’re taking as part of the normal investigation phase for an investigation of this nature,” Supt Paul Fehon said.

Yes exactly. If NC has any information she should be talking to police and not media interviews. Maybe we will see her on ACA next, LOL?

Just quietly, I think news.com.au and ACA are both part of the News Corp stable. When I read the News article, I seriously wondered about a future TV appearance by NC when it was reported that she spoke ‘exclusively’ to them and if the MSM article was simply a lead-up. I fully expected to see a link to ACA embedded in it.

Let her go I say - someone or someones might be a little rattled by her need for attention.

LE might have the same thoughts soso.
She might lead them to the culprit.

Loose lips sink ships.

Seems she is not disputing it anymore.

A FIFTH person has been questioned by detectives over the disappearance of toddler William Tyrrell after police discovered her application to the Department of Housing requesting a three-bedroom home that she could share with William’s grandmother.
Kim Loweke appeared on Channel Nine’s A Current Affair revealing police wanted to know where she was the day William disappeared.
She told the program that detectives also requested she show bank statements.

“I asked them inside and we sat in the kitchen and they just asked me about William — William’s disappearance.”
Natalie Collins, who happens to be Ms Loweke’s best friend and William’s grandmother was surprised to hear she was questioned.

“I just felt sick (when I heard they had questioned her), I don’t know why they’re involving her,” Ms Collins said.

William Tyrrell disappearance: Sydney mother questioned, has links with other persons of interest

Yes why involve her. All those links and NC's bestie.

Wonder if they are still friends?

Why was NC furious that the police interviewed her friend, the one who wanted a three bedder?

Looking for the link.

But if she had any valid information she could have always called the LE tip line anonomously.

Sorry not furious but SICK!?
I don’t know why they are involving her.....such a way with words.

“I don’t know why my name has come up in this situation,” Ms Loweke told A Current Affair.

I still wonder.if he's there and they missed him. Now that all the pedophile ring stuff has come to nothing...

I have wondered about that too after following the Noah Chamberlin case on here, where they searched the same area twice and found him on the second search where they had searched before. I'm not sure in WT's case whether there were any further ongoing searches for him after the initial search?

It looks like a process of elimination.

Police cut suspect list as investigation continues into toddler's disappearance

New South Wales police say they have eliminated hundreds of suspects as they continue to investigate the disappearance of toddler William Tyrrell, who went missing three years ago today.
Since then, police have identified almost 700 persons of interest, conducted hundreds of interviews and gathered more than 4,000 pieces of evidence but are no trace of William has ever been found.

I hope not but, geez, it wouldn’t be for lack of trying. LAC, SCC, emergency services and volunteer searchers turned that town upside down, as well as parts of greater Port Macquarie. Also, IIRC the 21 houses in Benaroon Drive were searched from their attics to their foundations three times at least.

LE went through the closest relatives and contacts like a packet of salts, even the washing machine man.
Then when they started to skirt further out they opened a huge can of worms. I think the further they searched the bigger it got. No stone unturned.
The investigation of a child screaming in that caravan park must have been huge and far reaching.

Other teams at NSW Police's State Crime Command, home to the force's elite squads, are also helping with the workload and have been assigned people to investigate.
Other targets have been left to the team of 14 detectives that make up Strike Force Rosann, led by Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin.
The overarching strategy, which has absorbed police resources across the state, is believed to be a first for homicide investigations in NSW..........

The Sydney woman said she didn't know where William was staying at the time he disappeared or that he was going to be in Kendall.
"I didn't know, I wouldn't have a clue," she said.
"Who would have known what day he was going to be there and when he was playing outside?"

Ms Collin's friend, Kim Loweke, told A Current Affair in August that police visited her and asked if she was hiding William after they found out she intended to move into a three-bedroom house with Ms Collins.
"Why would I do that, seriously? If someone had him, I wouldn't hide him, I would show the world," Ms Collins said.

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/william-t...-abduction-investigation-20160906-gr9n80.html

But alas we hear now from her, that she had assisted in hiding young William previously.

Boy oh boy - she did not know where he was staying at the time ..hmmm

How small this world really is eh?

Ms Loweke lives 360km from Kendall where William disappeared almost two years ago from another relative’s house.

It is understood there is a link between Ms Loweke and Debbie Jones, whose estranged husband, Anthony “Tony” Jones is considered to be a person of interest in the case.

Tony Jones’ car was seized for forensic examination and he was questioned by police. He said he was collecting scrap metal at the time William disappeared and has denied involvement in his disappearance.

Ms Loweke said detectives were interested in her silver Holden VX Commodore, which was similar in colour to the one seen parked outside nearby the morning of the disappearance.

I wonder if she said something similar to FaCS when Karlie and BC were hiding William for those three months?

Thanks for the link, soso. It mentions William’s FGM irt the investigation:

’William's parents have been previously ruled out of their son's disappearance as has his grandmother, [...]’

I never did quite understand the Dept of Housing application.
Even if that type of arrangement were approved - art room and all. The waiting lists are so long.

This granny flat that NC claims to have paid the bond for - is interesting. I mean how easy would it be to find someone on the run if they had paid a bond?
