THE search for missing toddler William Tyrell has gone global this week as agencies as far afield as Europe and the US appeal for information about the case.

Crime Stoppers websites in up to 26 countries have been asked by NSW Crime Stoppers to post an article about William’s abduction from the small town of Kendall last year, asking anyone with information to contact Australian Police.

I absolutely agree with you iailwa. Crimestoppers seems clogged with misinformation which keeps staff busy dealing with useless info and false leads.

That’s what they’re there for — to collect information.

Some of us have walked a mile in those shoes.

In 'those' or in 'your's' Boho ?

.. . and in saying that, not for a minute am I dismissing your life journey, the challenges you've no doubt faced, those that got you down, and those you've triumphed over; nor for that matter, am I dismissing mine.

However, I'm pretty sure your shoes would not fit on me with the comfort they do on you .. .. nor on anyone else ..

Both. By way of lived experience and the ability to empathise with another human being. Pure and simple. I don’t have an agenda.

Stop it. It all began when someone put their hands on William and took him away from 48 Benaroon Drive on 12 September 2014.

Thank you Bohemian, for sure emotions run high & tight in a situation such as this, but Wiliam needs us all to be focused for him.

Bickering amongst ourselves is just an ill wind, doing no good for anyone , IMO

Hey people I just want to put it out there - WT went missing in the care of his foster parents, and his FG. It's like two worlds collide. William & his abductor met. It's no fault - except the perpetrator. I'm finding it hard to know where Rosann is at, as would any. I know someone that put a call into crime stoppers & --- Nothing! I think they have no idea. If you look at the stats for crime stoppers it's very disheartening with what gets past on to the police. People need something better :( JMO

The Police Assistance Line is an alternative. 131 444.

Surely our stroke Rosann with a million years experience between them couldn't possibly know more than us mere civiilion sleuthers .

Don’t you know, HB, they’re part of the ‘conspiracy’? *smh*

Sometimes I think that it is time for Gary Jubelin to speak again, and give the public an update, or some reassurance about where the case stands at the moment (not in confidential detail, of course). Instead of being drawn into the bio family's woes and tales.

Then other times I think, no, they may be waiting until Speddings trials are over, then we will get a major update.

I remember in Novy Chardon's case, it all went quiet about Novy's murder while John Chardon was going through his child sex court cases. Once Chardon was locked up tightly in jail, and the potential witnesses were safe from his "influence" .. boom ... he was arrested for Novy's murder. Since then, witnesses have come forward and will testify at the murder trial.

Might be that the current state of play is just what DCI Jubelin was aiming for. Guess we’ll find out when the time is right for him to ‘comment on operational matters’. Immensely frustrating for us at times though. Imagine how much the ‘person or persons unknown’ would ‘be sweating’, or should be, in comparison.

Possibly. Though, I personally am seriously entertaining the idea that Jubelin may be clearing the way for that one (or more) person to speak, tell what they know, without influence or fear of retribution. It may be the last piece of evidence to fit into the case, and allow the prosecutor to give the nod.

I hope so, anyway.

Persons around the bio family just don't seem smart or wily enough, to me. To not leave some kind of trail. They seem to be in and out of jail frequently, so I am thinking they are not too good at covering up their crimes.

Yes, me too.. Although, I think that person (or persons) would probably be wise to have the courage to speak sooner rather than later, considering the penalties for concealing a serious crime. Every day is one more day they may run the risk of that piece of the puzzle being revealed by other means.

I agree about the capabilities of William’s BF. Also, a familial abduction doesn’t seem to ‘fit’.

Natalie Collins told news.com.au that her son had been promised, on his eventual release, rehabilitation help from campaigners involved in raising awareness to find her grandson William.
"He needs counselling. He has stuffed up, but try being in the shoes on Brendan's feet," she said. "He has been suffering. I think police should arrest all drug offenders and sellers.
"But every day I think of William and Brendan just holds it in and doesn't talk about it."

Let’s hope so. I’m prepared to put my money where my mouth is in that case, if he’s serious about turning his life around. ‘Try being in the shoes on [Brendan’s] feet’. Funny that we were just discussing the concept of empathy. Hopefully, Brendan will be able to start talking one day. It’s the first step on a long road to self-awareness, given a suitably trained trauma therapist/advocate. I wish him well.

Hopefully, part of Brendan’s custodial sentence will be served at the CDTCC. If he is committed to his recovery he deserves a second chance.

I hope ‘Josh Knight’ (or anyone else who reads/posts on William’s threads and knows something) has taken our advice to contact police.

The court was told he accepted the charges, and that he would be receiving a custodial sentence.
“He has approached an employer while in custody and on release will have work as an excavator,” Collins’ lawyer said told Magistrate Crittenden.
“He has reconnected with his mother and grandmother and will be going to live with them and only if he’s off all illicit substances.
“He tells me he plans to work, use the money to go back to the psychiatrist and stay off illicit substances.”

Lets hope so Bo.
At least he seems to planning for his future.
Jobs are so hard to come by. He is really fortunate to have an excavator job lined up on his release. Which of course we don't know when that will be yet.

Yes, when life gives you the blessing of a second chance, grab it with both hands.
