MS is not a POI. Conversation speculating about what she knows would at least make her an accessory after the fact unless you are all intimating that she just feels it in her waters and should contact Strikeforce Rosann. Maybe we should cool it.

Report any posts you think break WS’ TOS to the Mod, froggy. It’s the triangle on the bottom left hand side of every post that has an exclamation mark inside it.

Thanks, I thought a fiendly, (whoops, friendly, freudian much?) suggestion and the reason would suffice. We're pretty reasonable on here, if I was posting something that others thought was against TOS, I'd hope they would mention it to me 1st, and if we didn't see eye to eye and they still felt that way, then they could go be a "big fat dibba dobba.":giggle: and vice versa. MOO

There has been so much said about MS on here and I haven’t seen it deleted or recall a warning not to talk about her .

We are pretty reasonable that’s why it doesn’t bother us if posts are removed. Just thought I’d let you know about Mod option, if you’d like to do it anonymously. Also, I think the Mods prefer if we do it that way so he/she can reiterate to everyone (including new posters) what is/is not on the table for discussion. I wouldn’t think of anyone who reported one of my posts as a dobber. It’s just part of my being a WSer. Sometimes I stuff up.

William's bio parents and the foster parents have not been named as POIs or suspects. You may discuss what they may have said in MSM or what has been said about them in MSM but you may NOT sleuth them.

rsbm

In response to your post Hbayne, I am using the above example set by the mod, to apply to others who have not been named POI's or suspects forthwith.

I think IMO sometimes the mods. will intervene if it is brought to their attention, but if no one has then perhaps we might need some clarity on it all?
These are the rules from a quick read about TOS as a reminder.
(quote)
VICTIM FRIENDLY

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way, and only when such behavior is relevant to the case.

The "victim friendly" rule extends to the family members of victims and suspects. Sleuthing family members, friends, and others who have not been designated as suspects is not allowed. Don't make random accusations, suggest their involvement, nor bash and attack them. Posting their personal information, including names, addresses, and background data -- even if it is public -- is not allowed. That does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media.

yeah, guess it's just not part of my psyche as i think of us as all adults, but i take your point about the reiteration of TOS if the mod option is exercised.

Well i'm sure mods. on here have a lot of work as it is with so many threads and can't babysit every thread, and as i said the sleuthing about MS might never have been questioned before but she has never been named as a POI, whereas her husband has.
It does state "suspect" in TOS and will have to go back to check about POI's unless the suspect status in TOS is the same for POI's?

We are all adults but this is a moderated forum with TOS, not our kitchen tables. It’s up to the Mods to comment on aspects of moderation.

Absolutely. I do however think a number of members seemed to have come to an unsaid agreement over time, that if some members get to skirt over the line on some pet topics they will overlook another faction who overskirt the boundary on their pet topics. There are also a number of ways members pull each other up without a mod. Suggestions, ignoring, trying to redirect the conversation and for a long time, those things have worked.

Funnily enough our family dog is named boomer, which according to Wikipedia was the bane of poor mrs mangles life .

He is actually boomerang, we call him booms but close enough. Kids thought it was funny that a character in the show Wentworth was called boomer. Tart with a heart, bit like our dog.
