IIRC the only spontaneity was them leaving that night and not in that planned next day.

I can’t see it making any difference because BS was going to be there that same time anyway.

That being the pertinent point. He was going to be there.

His son is quoted as saying his father told him.

He says his father was due to go to William’s grandmother’s house on the day William disappeared, to fix her washing machine, but “he went to an award ceremony at the school, where one of the boys was getting an award, so he ended up going there rather than going out on that day to William’s grandmother’s”. He says his father told him that he phoned the grandmother to say he would not be coming to fix the washing machine.

How could toddler William Tyrrell simply vanish into thin air?

Apparent, alleged what ever. Our coppers aren't wordsmiths, I wouldn't read to much into those words used. They know, we don't . I would think it's pretty safe to say from all accounts that William was abducted. To those questioning that I would love to hear your theories of what you think happened to him.

Yes, this case caught my attention at the time because of its proximity to WT's disappearance. I'll see if I can find a more local article to name the location of where this occurred.

Nah..not really. It's on the Mid North Coast, but pretty far from Kendall. It was a place called Elands...another weird place, high in the mountains. Eerily beautiful tho. But miles away from Kendall.

It's best known for it's "oxygen farms"...among other farms I won't mention. :blushing:

And No one can vouch for him being there

Why did BS keep a spare mattress above his pawn business ?

I thought the difference between the word 'alleged" and "apparent" are quite different. I thought "alleged" means accused and "apparent" in regards to abduction means, what looks like an abduction. IMO

Very easy to misunderstand the written form. No human facial expressions to ‘check’. God knows what will happen to us all when AI robots take over. They will only be as good as those who program them. GIGO (Garbage In = Garbage Out). Anyway, let’s not have too many misunderstandings like that in future. It helps to clarify the reason for posting quotes, unless in direct reply for a request for one.

I've always wondered for "whom" did BS keep a spare mattress above his pawn business....?

I don’t think I want to know, under the circumstances.

Its an abduction id say for sure. Thats my opinion though, i still feel William is alive.

Nah.. Have driven from the 'Ree to Elands many a time... takes an hour from Wingham nearly. Definitely not an hour from Kendall.
Even if you come in from Comboyne, still a fair trek. Total goat trail.

If he is alive, I feel even worse for him. :(

I can't see any reason why someone who loved him (in a healthy way) would take him and hide him, and not take his sister, too.

Dumb is as dumb does. Jubes I'm sure had those calls texts whatever In his hands. BS not cleared. So many reasons why i think

Especially when you are a tradesperson. They rely heavily on recent call records if they need to go back and finish up work. Easier to pull up a number and redial it, than to go through paperwork looking for the number. And they don't usually add numbers to their phone contact list, if it is an occassional customer.

I know this from some tradies I work very closely with. Always looking up recent numbers in their call log.

(Yes, sometimes they call the wrong person :D but they don't seem to care, they are pretty good at finding the right number to call back, due to the time of the call.)

Those might not be of sound mind. I too think of the circumstances and what a young boy might be going through.

Sometimes good comes when not expected and you never know, lets hope William is found safe and well in the near future.

Unless it was someone he knew and they saw him as a possession. Like looking for a needle in a haystack as far as we’re concerned. Anyway just another one of our theories. Good to explore but, with the POI involved, a slim chance. We need to temper our hope with a a dose of the sad reality. Most missing children don’t survive if they are not found within the first 24 hours of their disappearance. But we will never give up, until William is found.

For William x
