It's what she "told" the reporter, she also told them her name was Elrington (her mothers maiden name) - no proof. She could be a cleaner at a child care centre for anyone knows.

Or a cook. I didn’t need a certificate for that. Don’t know if you need one now though.

I think everyone who works in the facility when children are present needs a Working with Children Check. I know painters that need them to do painting work there, if it is during business hours.

Pregnancy blood tests ???? Not sure about that screening. Waiting for a response from a friend who is an obstetrician to check that.

What blood tests will I be offered?
Blood tests are a routine part of your antenatal care. When you visit your GP to confirm your pregnancy, you'll be offered screening blood tests. This is to check your iron stores, blood group and whether you're Rhesus positive or negative. Your blood will also be tested for HIV, immunity to German measles (Rubella), syphilis and hepatitis B.

If you have a particular reason for concern, you can also ask to be tested for chlamydia, vitamin D deficiency and hepatitis C. All pregnant women are now offered and encouraged to test for HIV/AIDS, but it's not compulsory.

Wonder how she came to be interviewed?

Were incidental workers included with WWC Checks in 2009? I don't think they were.

Yes, now they do. I don’t know when that came into force. I didn’t have one of those either or, in more recent years, for canteen duty at my children’s/grandchildren’s schools. I must be special :D

Yep, so no drug screening.

Probably not ... it is a fairly recent requiremen. Is that when Karlie said she worked as a childcare worker. 2009? And then was charged with spitting at a police officer in 2010.

But I was actually answering Bohemian's comment about not knowing if they are required now. :)

But not drugs?

I think it would of been noticed in the newborn child if the mother had used illicit drugs during her pregnancy.

Just a random interview with locals at probably the local shopping centre . Only came to light from searching her name into google.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought the interview was at her workplace, LOL.

Not really as she had already committed some offence before police were even called.

Not splitting hairs, or condoning assaulting police AT ALL but I’m not sure Karlie has been charged with the prior ‘offence’. Maybe someone knows of an additional court date, or the person/police decided not to press charges?

I know Karlie and Brendan have all brought heat down upon themselves recently but I can't help thinking about what Jubelin said at the last presser. He wants whoever is responsible for WT's disappearance to feel that people are watching them.

FAS wasn't one of the tests you quoted.

Wouldn’t that be done on the child? I’m not sure that FASD is immediately obvious unless severe.

I'd like to know when the last charge was prior to these ones.
