There’s truly no excuse SA Bad behaviour should never be rewarded.

You see there are two mums experiencing similar grief.
Which one will seek the proper support and which one will drop the ball on the surviving children or step up and seek the appropriate support for the entire family and not just be so selfish to self medicate in something that distances you from being the best mum possible.
I think I know which mum would be following the appropriate process for her and her family.
Good help is there but free support could be hours waiting at a hospital whereas the other could have private Insurance and have the best available with no waiting.

I think I know which one will and which one won’t.

True, but if you’re motivated to change, you will keep trying. Even if you’re swimming through mud . . .

Maybe. Just interesting that it is just on her face. And a good sprinkling of it all down her left cheek. And the photographers made sure they caught it on film. Her demeanour was a little off, too. That could also be anxiety.

Who knows what is going on with this girl. I hope the pre-sentence review can get to the bottom of it all.

I’m wondering if the customers had an issue with those injuries on the child’s leg and that why security and then police were called.

Yes, I was wondering if she was actually slapping the child on the legs in the shops, and that is what started the ruckus. :dunno:

I'd personally like a public child sex offender register. I think we deserve that. They always say it will create havoc for the perverts. As if we care about that, when they harm the most precious things to us all.

I think you can probably safely assume that they are in just about every area ... unfortunately. Keep your children safe as you can, anywhere that you may live.

Just before I go, the topic of female offenders/reoffenders/prisoners has been the subject of debate recently. It’s an interesting topic.

https://theconversation.com/austral...-a-blueprint-for-a-radical-new-approach-65043

The Miranda Project:

I am aways surprised wrt to the actual reported & 'more likely' unreported stats re female sexual abuse on males. It's apparently a very under-reported topic. I read something by an academic in canberra recently, who recruited over 50 men who had been sexually abused by their mothers. There is also females sexually abused by their mothers - all of this is so hard is to fathom...

Not really the point of the post you replied to, iailwa, nevertheless it is an interesting one.

BBM. Unless you are a CSO, of either gender, I don’t think you can fathom their motives. I don’t know, there’s probably lots of different ones but that’s best left to professionals to figure out.

Was reading today about why the govt doesn't want a sex offenders "location" known in ur area. It would cause havoc, but i wonder whether a big circle (like Airbnb), rather than their actual address. could be useful? It is in the public interest after-all. If you knew they were in the vicinity, but not know exactly the address, you could aim to keep your child/children safer? You'd have to be familiar with Airbnb maps to know what i'm taking about...

I am starting to think if such a thing existed we would never find anywhere to bring up our children that is safe.

My device won't let me go back previous pages. What was the slapping incident ? I think I missed that.qlthough did notice the massive bruise on KT's arm

I think the best thing you can do is teach your children to rely on their ‘gut instinct’. No matter who or what someone is irt your children, if they feel ‘weird’ around someone, to never be ashamed to let you know. Kids’ feelings are often visceral. They need to trust their gut. The same can be said for adults too.

Just speculation for the police being called on December 22.

How long since she was arrested? It looks very much like a bruise from a hand grabbing her arm to me.

Fairly recent I’d say, unless from arrest and she is as slow healer.

I noticed in the comments on this fb report from channel 9 that NC is at it again in her most eloquent way of blaming foster parents .
