I think that if his alibi held water, in any way, he would not have been put under the scrutiny he has been under. He would not have been splashed all over the media. He would have been cleared as a POI, in this case.

If the police thought he was 'merely' a part of a bigger plan. I think they would have been a lot quieter about their actions. Put a gag on the media, put Spedding under 24/7 surveillance, allowed him some movement, monitored him in every way that they could, followed the trail.
Instead they have done quite the opposite.

They have him bundled where his movements are strictly limited, he must report to the police regularly, they allow the media to speak of him at every opportunity ..... (except now of course, due to subjudice).

BBM. have they done the opposite? IDK

Just reposting this (link to the second part of the presser is in the first):

https://www.websleuths.com/forums/e...e-of-William-Tyrrell-7-News-12-September-2017

It is interesting to read (and take the time to fully comprehend) DCI Jubelin’s answers to reporters’ questions in his most recent presser (September 2017). Although BS has not been specifically cleared as being a POI, the investigation into William’s disappearance was described by DCI Jubelin as ‘dynamic’.

If he was at the school for the entire concert that would be good enough for me.
If I was at the concert and I’d seen him there, I’d be speaking up for him loudly. Surely someone would speak up.
If I was BS and I knew I was at the concert, And the police knew it, id demand , through my lawyer if necessary, that the police confirm it publically.
Silence is golden huh.

Yes there is nothing about the day. What time he left home. What time he arrived back home.
Just little snippets of the day that ends with BS and presumably his wife watching the evening news and saying - hey I think I have been to that house.

Whether they are born that way or not, who knows? Hard to get into a person's brain and find out the whole truth.

One thing is for sure, their actions are an extreme and hurtful abuse of power.

This comment from me will be controversial - i think (and it's not just me) that pedophlila is a sexual 'orientation' - albeit, of the worst kind. Some prefer it -- to all else. Horrific i know :(

Are some people in society just born like that ? I remember watching an Oprah show many moons ago. She had a self confessed paedophile as a guest, he had never never done anything wrong in terms of subjecting a child to abuse but said he felt he was a threat to society because he had those thoughts . He had never done anything but knew his tendencies were completely wrong.

OT and FYI. This may be an interesting MSM article to read:

https://www.independent.co.uk/voice...member-paedophiles-are-people-too-124183.html

btw don’t shoot the messenger.

Also the details of Ben McCormack’s (ex-ACA reporter’s) recent trial come to mind.

I was just thinking about that a bit more ... I wonder if Spedding was under surveillance almost immediately, then a call to Crime Stoppers came in from a plumber - he'd found a red (Spiderman?) undershirt clogging a pipe at Spedding's house. They decided to go very public, tear Spedding's place(s) apart. Margaret panicked and threw a spiderman toy/figurine in the van. "No, the red shirt belonged to one of my grandson's, he loves spiderman, he even gave his grandad one of his spiderman toys to carry around with him ... look here it is."

Hence, the bushland search , too. Surveillance saw him enter the bush there.

Bit far out there? Somehow this all fits together. Wish we knew what the police know. :tantrum:

"Hey, I think I will post a few things on FB. Let's see, where shall I start .... They got up this morning. Had breakfast. Realized they need to pick up some more milk ..... "

Yes for someone so concerned why didn't he get off his butt and join the search.
Oh that's right he had to go to footy.

Bloody sharing posts on facebook - yet he deleted his call log ... pokerface.
imo

Just trying to piece some of the random facts that we know together ... the shirt clogging up the pipe, the spiderman toy/figurine, the bush search, possible surveillance and monitoring (4 months is a mighty long time to wait to search and forensically test a POIs stuff).

Yes, I think someone drove into the bush with him, too. I happen to think that someone is Spedding. For all the reasons I have stated throughout the threads. And I think William is still out there ... somewhere. :( :( :(

Last Monday began like any other for Mr Spedding. He was sitting on the back porch planning his work schedule as his wife prepared to take their grandchildren to the park.

William Spedding: I never did anything to hurt William Tyrell

Yep - he certainly plans his work schedule.

’'There has been some very public lines of inquiry that have played out in the media in the public,' Det Chief Insp Jubelin said.

'There is a lot the public are not aware of. As we stand here and speak we are working on covert operations.

'We are also using local areas of command to target these [persons of interest].

'How we target them, I am not going to go into methodology, it is covert, overt, all different ways, depending on the level of risk associated with those persons of interest.' ‘

With a non-parole period set to expire on March 14, he could be out in six weeks.

Long enough to detox; not long enough for complete rehabilitation.

I think he was then passed to a woman sitting in a vehicle past the cemetery
