Yes be that as it may, i am going by what has been mentioned by the courts in BS's historical case, and that has been a determination made by an authority of the court in the system in Australia in granting BS bail at the time.

What about this then? An irrelevant police fact sheet?

"Police have been informed the offences … were not pursued formally by police at the time of disclosure due to concerns as to the welfare of the victims, given their tender age,” a fact sheet said."

Yes TGY, I've already killed you but I will cover myself by texting " how did you sleep"

Or where are you?

It’s nearly textbook.

I don't understand how they can access a report as to why they didn't pursue charges with BS but they can't supply his interview from the time.

So what is the general consensus of who abducted WT? It sounds like everyone thinks BS did it. What about the 2 pedos that were searching for scrap metal and came home drunk? They never seem to brought up here?

Court documents allege the abuse took place in March and April 1987, including in a caravan on a property belonging to one of Mr Spedding’s friends in Campbelltown, south-west Sydney.

i wonder who this friend in campbelltown is?

Hopefully, they have a lot more evidence. They may have lost Spedding's interview from that time period, but perhaps they have not lost what the girls said at the time. Plus they have the medical reports. They have the proof that Hillsley was in jail. They likely have proof that Spedding was living there at the time.

I know that one judge said that 'a reporting female' appeared unstable or something .. but who wouldn't be erratic, if their girls had been raped and thrown around? And I know they said she had accused other men, too. Well, maybe there were other men ... didn't the children say they were passed around?

I also read recently that the mother AND grandmother were both told it was Bill by the 3 year old.

.

Being historic and the age of the victims I sincerely hope their memories are clear and precise.

Who is Spedding’s lawyer?
These poor victims are going to dragged through the mud.

He says his father was due to go to William’s grandmother’s house on the day William disappeared, to fix her washing machine, but “he went to an award ceremony at the school, where one of the boys was getting an award, so he ended up going there rather than going out on that day to William’s grandmother’s”. He says his father told him that he phoned the grandmother to say he would not be coming to fix the washing machine.

How could toddler William Tyrrell simply vanish into thin air?

BBM appears to be a direct quote.

Well to me it's poor reporting and open to inference. It is interesting that in 2 articles, RS is only partially quoted but the parts about his father being due that day and that he was supposed to be there are not quotes but 2nd hand from the reporter. IMO

I guess no-one read my link from austlii - Australasian Legal Information Institute - the other day ... sigh (just joking, it is massively long :) )

It is all about historical child sex offence prosecution. the difficulties, the ins and outs, etc.

One thing it notes is this .....

"The passing of time means that police and ultimately prosecutors are faced with an inevitable loss of evidence: memory, scientific and medical evidence, written records and living or competent witnesses."

frog the fact that BS made his own video clarifying that he never indicated to anyone that he had been to the home before the 9th from then until the 18th or after. it does make you wonder.
He is basically saying those that spoke and and supported him - mate, son, niece were making it up.
Yet he never clarified what the arrangements were for him to return and install the part on the washing machine. Nor did he clarify the phone calls or the days alibi.
IMO he just raised more doubt.

Here are some links to back up what I just posted here ...

"There is evidence of other adult offenders who are complicit in similar child sex offences both independently and in conjunction with the accused in this matter," the police fact sheet states.

The grandmother and mother of the alleged victim told police they remembered the three-year-old complaining of soreness and saying: "Bill did it."

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/william-t...phile-ring-police-allege-20150423-1mrvj7.html

Soreness. IIRC that’s an understatement.
Poor little girl.
If word gets out about those injuries in jail he’ll wish his father never met his mother.

I respectfully disagree, I thought he was saying that others who spoke on his behalf were misquoted or incorrectly reported by the media. He made it really clear, (in his version) he only attended the house on the 8th. I wish we still had access to that photo of his van parked amongst the police at Benaroon Dr. It was my understanding, that the family had been sent home, and the grandmother was stayingat a friends house when he was contacted to do the repair, where I'm sure the police had an informal interview with him while he did the repair and checked over his van while he was inside. MOO

The austlii link I posted yesterday (the one that no-one read :D ) said it is not unusual for victims to be on the stand for 4 or 5 days. :(

Police interviewed him whilst conducting the repair ? Had only ever been there on the 8th. This does not make sense at all .

Up until WT's disappearance on the 12/9, BS claims he only ever attended the Benaroon Drive residence on the 8th/9. BS was asked to come to do the repair on the washing machine after WT disappeared on 18/9 and the family had been sent back to Sydney and the FGM was not present. During the time he did the repair, police probably asked him questions and looked at his van. clearer?

Did Spedding ever definitely claim to have rung back in the morning?

He was more or less free all morning and it's reported he didn't want to do the job on the weekend. Why wouldn't he have called back or attended? How long would this job have been likely to take? How long did it take, when he went back a week or two later? That would have been noted.

That pic of Spedding’s van outside 48, was that THAT afternoon or the next day.
I recon the cops really wanted to meet Mr Fixit.

IF Spedding’s guilty can you imagine having to go in, fix that bloody machine with several cops waiting to chat.
His heart would’ve been coming out his ears.
Sweating bullets and the cops were watching every move.

That is what I do not get.
He wanted to clarify inaccurate reporting. The media reporting he had/was at the Tyrrell house on the 12 September.

But the media had been reporting he had been there on the 8th September - nup BS wanted us to know it wasTuesday the 9th September and Thursday the 18th September.
Well he had to be invited by someone to do the repair on the 18th September.

imo

Im hearin' ya mate! I too am drawn to the scrap metal fiend. Just his pics give me the willies. I feel nothing like that with other P.O.I.
But who knows....no-one til an arrest is made and it all comes out in court..or God willing, WT is found!

Apparently the 3 yr. old at the time has no recollection of it, and only vague memories of youth in a 21 page statement/report submitted to the judge in BS's bail hearing.
Maybe the other child has some memory of it?
