Just wondering what time they arrived in Kendall from Sydney.
I don’t think I’ve ever sprung a surprise visit from such a distance away.
Even in this case it’s too much of a surprise.
Late afternoon/early night there’s bags, possibly beds to be made, 2 excited kiddies.

Hey not that there’s anything untoward about the surprise at all.

All i remember reading is the FF weren't even there 24 hours and WT went missing. So i imagine they arrived sometime in the evening or night?

Im hearin' ya mate! I too am drawn to the scrap metal fiend. Just his pics give me the willies. I feel nothing like that with other P.O.I.
But who knows....no-one til an arrest is made and it all comes out in court..or God willing, WT is found!

You cant judge by look but hes a 🤬🤬🤬

Can someone here tell me what the general consensus around here? Is it BS? Is it that he went to return the part and run into WT. Abducted him, killed him. Then went to school award thingy? Whatever happened to those 2 known sex offenders who were out looking for scrap metal and returned home late and drunk?

OT from William, but I don’t believe for a second that Daniel wasn’t sexually assaulted, given Cowan’s history for violence following his sexual attacks, & given the fact that poor Daniel’s belt was taken out of the loops of his shorts.
I believe he just didn’t want to look someone in the eye & admit that.

Folks numerous posts have been removed discussing an unapproved FB pg.

There is way too much gossip out there and WS is not the place for it. That's not how we roll here.

From BBM, the "damn mess" has to be something NC can directly observe--her and her son's lives, I take it.

The link between the two statements, "whatever they've done, they've done very well" and "it's just a damn mess" is [because]? They've done a very good job of making a damn mess of our lives, is that what she's saying?

So is she just self-obsessed or is her theory that William was abducted in order to injure the family, and specifically, her branch of it?

If only we had a crystal ball IMO! Intersting theories tho for sure JLZ.

NC could even be referring to the fact of 'them' taking L & William from the family, and how it's all a 'damm mess'.

As misguided as perhaps her actions may be deemed, I'm thinking perhaps they're actually driven by love of her kids & her grandchildren (are these her only?).
I know if I was in her shoes they'd have to tape my mouth to stop me from doing everything to keep awareness & activity alive in the search for my grandchild. And it would destroy me if I was judged unfit to care for them, perhaps on the basis of 'love' for them or their father.

As she said, it's all such a mess - a sad, sad mess, with a little boy missing & so many people hurting.

Please God, we need guidance ...

Soso. I don't know about how police operate--but I would think BS and MS would have been interviewed separately at the same time? Didn't he go back a few days later to change something he said?--may have been because he found out MS gave a conflicting account of something and he needed to do some damage control.

OMG .. Is that possible? I thought when you gave a statement it was like 'signed, sealed & delivered' .. How can you go back & change something ?

Up until WT's disappearance on the 12/9, BS claims he only ever attended the Benaroon Drive residence on the 8th/9. BS was asked to come to do the repair on the washing machine after WT disappeared on 18/9 and the family had been sent back to Sydney and the FGM was not present. During the time he did the repair, police probably asked him questions and looked at his van. clearer?

100 % clearer, thanks. I had never seen or heard that before. That clears up his van being amongst the police cars ect.

I don't think you can change a formal statement you've signed etc but you can make another statement to say you've come to realize you were mistaken and the actual facts are such-and-such, or that you think you left out something that may be relevant . . . you get the idea. It's risky, the police can make something of you having changed your story, but better than them catching you lying from their own investigations.

You asked the same question last month, and had an answer from Bo.

You're in as good a position as any of us to judge of consensus. All we can go by is reading one another's posts. Mostly, I think, we're more interested in the topic than in fixing one another's opinions.

If only they’d chosen this verandah instead.

Talking about revolving doors.

What a beautiful, serene view and setting. It is almost hard to believe that such an entire-country-shaking event happened in that little town, on that pretty street, on a quiet Friday morning. Except that we know that it did.

William's disappearance has certainly grabbed everyone - like Daniel's disappearance did, and the Beaumont children.

The Wilsons heard the children playing so I’m looking how far away other neighbours would have heard them.
As the crow flys there doesn’t appear to be trees or houses so I’m thinking the sound might have travelled way further into the next street.
William ventured over to the tree close to Wilsons boundary so that takes the sound further again.
Hope this makes sense.

Judy Wilson, whose fence sits just 10m from where William was taken, heard him and his sister playing earlier that morning before she headed into town to run some errands.

He'd already been down near the boundary that morning?

Possibly. They were described as 'running around the house' ... William and his sister. As well, William had been 'climbing' a tree, which we think we placed higher up on the property, closer to the house. The foster mum said he didn't actually really like being up in the tree, wanted to get down because it was too high for his liking and sense of caution.

Police say William began a game, running around the back of the house underneath the balcony to hide.

Three-year-old boys don't tend to walk up steep hills. They run down them.

He was playing in the backyard and running around the house with his sister.

I was thinking he might have checked out the tree again just for a look as he wasnt too happy about being in it earlier.

Maybe ... though we believe the tree was much closer to the patio, not down with the trees by the roadside. We actually found out what kind of tree it was, way back in the threads somewhere, and studied the property. It looked like that particular tree was at the top of the slope and near the back corner of the house.
