What I find peculiar about William's disappearance is that the event occurred such a short time after Cowan's conviction in March 2014 regarding the abduction and murder of Daniel in 2003. I often wonder if the two events, the conviction and William's abduction are connected.

That sounds like a random thought--a lot of things happened in 2014--but if you'd like to expand, the stage is yours as much as anyone's. Connected, in what way?

I am still really unclear in trying to establish who was outside with WT when he was taken? Was he out there alone? was he still out there with his sister?
Who actually went inside the house to make a cup of tea? Depending on what MSM articles are still available from the day in question, there are some variations as to the answers to those questions?
But it is obvious that no one who was caring for the children that morning heard or saw anything that was suspicious except for the FM remembering later that evening/night about the two vehicles parked across the street that day.

Fg was sitting on the porch with William She was recovering from an operation.he jumped off the porch and ran around
the side of the house. The fs needed to use the toilet so went inside. Fm was making a cup of tea could hear William roaring . Whether fg went to help the girl is unclear.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that is one version. Another was that WT & his sister were running around together playing chasey. So that would of meant it might have been possible for her to see something, but i remember an MSM article that stated she had been questioned and wasn't able to give any information about anything? If i can still find the article i will post it up.

I hope that the roaring or whatever exact sound the FM heard before WT went missing wasn't because someone had grabbed him?

  • #648
Fs was playing chasey with William earlier.fs obviously saw nothing of significance. 41/2 years of age .Their voices were heard by neighbours at no.30...

This is one version i found.
(quote)
William was playing with his sister when he stepped off a wooden deck and onto grass near the side of the home as his mother made a cup of tea inside.

He made his way around the side of the house, built on a large block in a quiet cul-de-sac where the sounds of birds chirping and a car engine pierces the air.

Police believe William went down towards the sloping backyard.

A five-minute window was all it took.

By the time his mother realised she hadn't heard his giggles, William had vanished.

A frantic search of the home yielded nothing and about half an hour later at 11.06am, police arrived.

Sound of a car engine?

They heard no cars.

So in that article i linked William was "giggling", but have heard FM say he was "roaring" playing tigers or something to that effect?

Watch the 60 mins interview with foster parents. She gives exact account of how it played out.

I would think a call to crimestoppers is only if you have any relevant information regarding this case that could help the investigation? I'm sure LE have a better idea i would hope than any of us, so i wouldn't waste their time with theory.
Just tossing around theories on here, being that it is a crime sleuthing forum.
And i really hope LE can crack this case one day soon, and WT is found.

From my memory of that interview does FM say who was exactly where and at what time doing whatever they were doing? I recall about WT playing tigers and roaring and then she calls out to William and nothing.
Does she actually state in that interview that FGM was sitting on the porch and WT and his sister were running around outside playing together, chasey or tiger and that she was inside making tea? I would probably have to watch it again because it would refresh the memory of the interview, and is it still available seeing as it is an old 60 Minutes one?

Believe me sharp eyed members of the public who happen to be sleuthers come here as well as reporters from daily telegraph following tip offs

Yes, you are right, Whàngarei.

"That information might be in the form of someone that has concerns about someone they know. Someone within their family [and] the way they react when William Tyrrell's name is mentioned."

"If you've got information regarding William's disappearance and you've got concerns that you could be potentially complicit in the offence, by concealing the offence, that offence will be negated the moment you come to police," he said.

"That's a big ticket item that you can consider, if you have been sitting on this information."

Well that's good, whatever it takes to find his whereabouts certainly helps.

If you find the video maybe you could post the link here, so others can have it for reference, too.
