Fg was sitting on the porch with William She was recovering from an operation.he jumped off the porch and ran around
the side of the house. The fs needed to use the toilet so went inside. Fm was making a cup of tea could hear William roaring . Whether fg went to help the girl is unclear.

Was that everyone who was there though? I seem to remember a lot of discussion that there may have been another person there in the early days due to the angle of the photo of WT and who he was looking at. I don't believe that was ever actually cleared up.

It is allegedly Bickford although in that pic he looks very different to other pics and tv interviews of him to me.
im not saying it isnt him, just that it is a terrible representation and would not help anyone to identify him in comparison to all other pics of him.

Something I noticed again ...... from two years after William's disappearance.

Does anyone recall how long the covert operation regarding Daniel's disappearance went on. It was several years, wasn't it?


ETA: I just found my answer. The covert operation started in April 2011. Cowan confessed to an undercover officer in August that same year.

I remember seeing the foster mother explain the angle of the photograph. From memory, she said she took the photograph, and he was looking at her.

Fm explained that angle .in the 60 mins vid.She said he was looking up at her face as she took the pic.

BBM About 4 months from first encounter on the plane to confession and charging, according to Wikipedia. I don't know how long the prior planning and setup would have taken.

There is a current discussion in this forum where certain participants are assuming it is fact spedding was at the property on the morning William disappeared. To continue with the discussion this non verified assertion needs to be supported by fact. That is Websleuth TOS.

Sorry but I have to agree with papertrail on this. It has never been proven that BS was at the FGM house the day that William went missing. He may well have been but it has never been established as fact that he was. LE may have more info on that but we at Websleuths do not.

Sorry but I have to agree with papertrail on this. It has never been proven that BS was at the FGM house the day that William went missing. He may well have been but it has never been established as fact that he was. LE may have more info on that but we at Websleuths do not.

Either way, we can certainly speculate and relate our own opinions. Spedding is a named POI. And there has been much ado about whether or not he was there. He says he wasn't, his son said he was meant to be, there were apparent missed phone calls back and forth between himself and grandma's house - calls that were not in his phone call log, the part arrived the previous day, the foster mother told him that afternoon he couldn't come now (William was by now missing) .... on and on.

Our theories are based on these things related in MSM, as per TOS. We are not making those MSM things up.

Yes, I agree. I went back this morning and re-listened to both of those interviews. She certainly does state in one interview and insinuate in the other interview that they were sitting on the back porch. No mention of where the sister was at the time. She is being kept out of it ... thankfully. And was either inside, or on the porch, or didn't see what happened.

I have no doubt they did interview AJ and very early in the investigation.
I really wish Katrina had told us what time AJ left the house that morning sober and how.
fm saw the cars across the street with the windows down when she got up and opened the sliding door facing down Benaroon.
They did the breakfast, got dressed - usual morning routine.
Dad went into town to do his errands, due to the woeful internet service at grandma's.
The cars were still there when William and Mum were climbing trees.

I still wonder if it was only mum that saw the cars.
