The grandmother of missing toddler William Tyrrell has claimed he was hidden for three months by his biological parents before he was taken into care.

When he was just eight-months-old, his parents had become so afraid they were about to lose care over their child, they kept him away from authorities inside a granny flat, it is being reported.

The latest revelation about the missing three-year-old has come from the boy's grandmother, Natalie Collins, in a new interview about her grandson's disappearance.

They with the help of Natalie went into hiding. Very sensible 5 Seconds of Stupidity ... Well 3 months actually.
imo

I doubt that Natalie was involved, she is again trying to have her moment in the spotlight. Extreme narcissist. Trying to paint herself as the perfect grandmother.
I would say NW Sydney is likely Quakers Hill with William's biological grandfather. I am not sure why he is forgotten as being that. He seems to have been kept very much out of the picture media-wise which is very strange to me but then some people are more media savvy than others (or get good advice). I would have thought that much more could be made of the celebrity connection here but it hasn't. And it certainly was kept quiet for a long time. Some of the dates don't quite tie up but then again some of that info comes from that credible source, Natalie. However, it would make sense that they lived with him for a short time as he is family. I doubt very much they lived with Karlie's dad. TOS.

Hi Creduliois, and welcome.

Someone please refresh my mind.. Did it end up being FG who made the call to BS the next morning, or was it FM?

If FM, then he immediately knew the children were there. Perhaps she asked could he come between that certain time frame as once hubby got back from work around 11am, they were going out.

Perhaps the plan was in place to abduct the children that weekend anyway, but this piece of information may have meant a hurried rallying of the troops. MS would need to go to school event on her own, but maybe grabbed a takeaway coffee for each at the cafe when he dropped her off... Hence the receipt. ..

All IMO

It was FM.

When asked by Michael Usher if she thought BS knew they were there she said 'I don't know'.

CY said BS walked down the side of the house through the carport to the laundry (not that he is a reliable source), but if true BS would not be in the main part of the house seeing family photos.

FGM may (or may not) have said I need wm fixed for the weekend as I have family coming. If the conversation opened up and he enquired about the family coming and fgm went on to say yes my daughter, hubby and two granddies aged 4 and 3, I think she would remember saying all that being it was only 4 days previous. But according to FM they don't know if BS knew WT would be there.

She only left a message which probably wouldn't have allowed time to go into a preferred time when hubby would be back and those details would be saved for when she actually spoke to him. IMO

“We never thought for a minute it was someone from town,” says Judy Wilson.
Like William’s grandmother, she has since moved out of Benaroon Drive, but in September 2014 Wilson lived in the house that adjoins William’s grandmother’s back yard. In the days after he vanished, she couldn’t shake the thought that William’s potential abductor had waited for her to go into town to run errands before activating a plan too dark for Wilson to dwell on.
“We think about William every day,” she says. “And when we think of him we think of him alive.”
From his house directly opposite William’s grandmother’s former home, an elderly man named Paul (surname withheld for privacy reasons) and his son, Sean, have watched long-time friends and neighbours slowly drift away from Benaroon Drive.
“A lot of them have moved,” he says. “One bloke left because he felt intimidated by the police. He had a few problems. He wasn’t a crook or a bad bloke, just a bit of a loner. He wanted out.”
“A recluse,” says Sean. “I think all of the attention sort of frightened him.”
“They were coming around checking everything and he got scared,” Paul says. “Just the fear of that.” He shrugs his shoulders. “You got to let them do their job and they’re still following up on everything. They’re doing a good job.”

Why were the neighbours not suss on the guy who was scared of the police? He stands out like proverbial you know what's imo.

I doubt Spedding was in the house, either. Except the laundry, of course.

And I think the morning phone call was them wanting to know exactly-ish what time he would be there, as I think he had prearranged to go there on Friday morning. A couple of sources say so .. his son being one and the police being another (I saw that in an MSM report yesterday, about the police saying that, I should have saved it because I will probably never find it again :sigh: ).

The family wanted to go to the cemetery, and who knows what else they wanted to do when dad got back, so a more accurate time than "Friday morning" would likely have been very helpful.

I think this is interesting and weird...

Here is a link to WT in his spiderman suit

https://www.dailyexaminer.com.au/news/biological-dad-missing-child-william-tyrrell-revea/3222587/

When the 60 minutes, WT episode was some of us examined the suit that GJ was showing Michael Usher was a near replica of WT's. WT's suit had been purchased in Bali. When we looked at it, it wasn't a near replica.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBvAjYuePw8 found not far from the beginning of this video

We looked at all sorts of sources trying to find a suit that matched but didn't find one

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...4s7ZAhXDE7wKHW_5DukQ_AUICygC&biw=1920&bih=974

On the Sudnay night program promo, it shows a child in a spiderman suit. Seems they were able to hit on a perfect match. Why would they go to all that trouble? Even the one the police had wasn't a perfect match and they sent away to Bali to get one.

It occurrs to me that someone is being sent a message.

Would love to see that link South Aussie but nevermind :giggle:

In 60mins interview FM says

'washing was piling up so I thought I would phone in the morning and just find out when the part had arrived and when he was coming back to install the part. So I called and left a message.'

Wouldn't fgm have known if he was due on the Friday?

I get the impression he told fgm he needed to order a part and would be in touch when it arrived. The part arriving and fm phoning him seemed to coincide.

The way I imagine it from what FM said

On receiving her message he either
(1) had the part so rang to make an appt. then drove to Laurieton
(2) knew he had received the part Thursday went to Laurieton to collect it and then ph and make an ppt. or
(3) on receiving the message he went to Laurieton found the part had been delivered then ph to make an appt.

Even saying all that, I sense that some parts of the 60mins interview were created as tactics directed at perp and anyone who knows anything.

From memory BS picked the part up on the Thursday.

Yes, even when the FM says, "I don't know, anything is possible." she is nodding her head in agreement with the interviewers statement. IMO

Thanks Frogwell, I didn't use that snippet as for me it's not from a reliable source.

Yes very interesting body language isn't it? That's one reason I think parts were created and directed at certain people.

She might not have even been answering that question

This is why I struggle with this case. There is so much more to disbelieve than there is to believe.

This is where I find Colin's comments interesting. Maybe not accurate, but interesting.
I am guessing that was one of the questions in that 10 page interview. 'When' did the part arrive? Of course Col had already told us some months before, it had arrived Thursday.
Now if that part did arrived earlier - why hadn't BS at least made contact to arrange a time with fgm? Why was his good mate blabbing to the media it did not arrive until Thursday?
Washing machines and fridges are something repair men know you need fixed asap. Not good for business to be a slacker and keep your clients hanging for too long.

This one (from your image link) is as close as the Police one is.

2 pce Suits are available. I would imagine no suit is exactly the same because of material printing.

Last Tuesday I called a repairman to fix my washer. He had to source the part. It was late in the day so he said he would return when he had the part.
Just as he said he would, he was back on Wednesday afternoon to fix it.
He did give a courtesy phone call to check that 2pm was OK with me to do the repair.
I never used to take much notice of these things ... but things have changed....:)

I'm not quite following, you think the part arrived before Thursday Sosocurious?

Imo being regional I think ordered Mond, despatched Tues, received Thurs is a pretty good turn around. All depending on where the part had to come from and what service was used.

Possibly he was scared of many people? He could have suffered from a mental ailment ... schizophrenia, something else than can create paranoia? It may be well known by locals, and well documented by doctors.

Just some thoughts ....

I wonder if he lived in the House some OF US thoughts strange.

:dunno:

I am regional. I guess it depends on availability of part and the speed of courier. Overnight being an option.

I just wonder why Col felt the need to tell us that detailed information about a washing machine part. BS quote visit, which of course he stuffed up. It was the 9th not the 8th as Col suggested.
I mean if BS alibi was sound, does it really matter what day the part arrived?

Rodney Spedding said

Mr Spedding said his father had told him that he was supposed to repair a washing machine at the Kendall house where William disappeared from on September 12.
He said his father had coffee with his wife, Margaret, and then went to Laurieton Public School to watch his grandchildren in a ceremony on the morning William disappeared.
