I have someone close to me who grew up as a child who was given drugs, sexually abused by one her mothers meth drug dealer boyfriends. This bloke was selling meth to schoolkids.

This girl is now perfect and obviously full anti drugs. She works next to a CEO and often meets one the richest women in the country. Bad childhood is not an excuse for poor adult choices.

The freaky thing, is he looks remarkably like identikit of he bloke that raped the German au pair in Mosman Park.

We need to stop making excuses for these bad behaving people.

I'm sorry, Bo. All I can think of is the children in this case, and the multiple times that Karlie and Brendon could have utilised any/many of the services on offer through our social services system. That is what the services are there for. We (working people) pay for them with our taxes. Once you become an adult, and you are pinged by FACS and/ or police - and hopefully before then - it is your own personal responsibility to pick yourself and and do better.

There is no excuse for abusing our police. Punching a policewoman in the face. Spitting on another ... years later.

These people might have owed someone money. They might have pissed someone off. It builds a broader picture to ascertain motive.

Well we don't know, and that theory has been probably been bandied about on other threads, but i imagine LE have investigated those things by now? IMO

She might have done something. William might have been abducted as collateral or retribution. It could give us motive.

The thing is, while we are demonising all and sundry who are connected to William, did it ever occur to anyone that the person and/or persons unknown who arranged and/or abducted/kidnapped William may have, or have had, ‘good intention(s)’ and may have since had a change of heart; particularly with regard to William’s separation from his carers/siblings?

The only other alternative theory I can come up with is that William fell into the wrong hands (possibly one or more of the known [and unknown] POIs), as a result of those ‘good intention(s)’ and is now at risk of even greater harm than he was in his biological parents’ care.

I wonder if there may be someone who holds the key to William’s recovery who is still too scared/ashamed of their role in his disappearance to come forward to investigators?

If some of the comments on this forum (including mine [hangs head]) over the past three and a half years are any barometer of the public’s feelings toward William’s abductor(s)/kidnappers and/or associates are any guide, I think I’d feel petrified to come forward. Not to mention if there were additional unfavourable circumstances.

I think it's very rare indeed for drug related crimes that involve the kidnapping of very young children as collateral? Normally if a lot of money is owed they might kill the person that owes the money if they don't pay up.

I would disagree with it being late at night around 9pm. daylight saving summertime in Australia. It's still daylight in December at that time. I like going to the store around that time because it's quieter at that time of day too. JMO.

If you want to get a refund from a store and paid with a card they can actually look up the particulars if you have the date of the transaction. I have done this at Big W and Bunnings. Their records will tell you the exact time and even the register that you paid at. Maybe this is what Col is talking about.

You can also ring your bank and they will give exact time and name of the company for the transaction. Staff were interviewed to confirm. I think his 10.00 am alibi will stand up. But I also believe he was involved somehow, and has manufactured an alibi. IMO he didn't go to the house at 10.30 am and snatch him, but if the abduction occurred earlier about 9.30 am or if he was overseeing things then maybe???

I just remember when my youngest was little and i took him to the store after his nap, sometimes late in the evening in summer when i needed a few things. that's all.

Can the bank prove who made the transaction? I am not going to dispute the bank time thing. Police have no doubt checked that out.
Spedding's friend said it was on his bank statement. That I do dispute.
