Did you watch it SA

Got to see it on Ch10 .... thank goodness!!

What I got from it, very clearly, is that this search is definitely to show that there was human intervention. Reiterated that at least several times.
(Pretty clear that they know what has happened, and are trying to rattle the people that know. imo)

This search is on a lesser scale, but far more intense, about 3 sq kilometres.
Being conducted by about 50 members of the PORS and the state planning board.

"We have built up a database of all info, we refer to frequently, there is a reason for this search."

They have consulted the former state Coroner, and the current Coroner, not sure if or when the current Coroner will attend the site. No inquest scheduled, they still have many lines of inquiry to follow.

Not looking good with the spacing of searchers. Fingertip search. Shovels, rakes, etc. More intensive and focussed on comparatively small area. Looking for a clandestine burial site I fear.

Boy, Jubes is peed off, isn't he? And in serious "we're going to get you" mode. On his haunches and at the ready.

" We strongly believe people out there have info. You are at risk of criminal conviction for concealing this offense. If you suspect someone, you need to pass this info on."

I cannot imagine the hoops that he is jumping through, to get the funds for this massive search, to get the right people involved, to catch this despicable perp.

He holds grave, grave fears for William's demise .. said that several times .... but stops short of saying anything else. Just that he has told the families they will continue as if William could be alive. :(

Do they have dogs with them?

Yes the new suspect is interesting.
Given police have not named a suspect at all. Actually they have refused to talk about any specific person of interest.
Tightening the screws, soso? Maybe they're making someone VERY nervous. Hope so. And anyone else who knowingly protected the mongrel (s) who did it.

Would be pretty unusual for him to be buried so close by with the short time space he went missing I would've thought? Take him and bury him so close with police on site and searchers around so quick? I don't know, I just find it hard to see that scenario with the info given on the time he disappeared and searches etc?

I wouldn’t like to be the person he’s addressing when he says ‘You come to us or we’ll come to you.’

Last question to Gary was did he think any evidence left behind after all these years would still be there, his answer was a definite "in my experience yes".

I really don’t know anymore. 3 sq kms is a big area and they had 20 or more minutes on searchers.

Perhaps they are more searching for evidence of William's demise nearby.
Perhaps they have far more info than we realise. Perhaps methodology is included, due to prior MO or a tip. Perhaps a shoe, a scrap of clothing, a weapon, a cloth, something else, is being searched for.

He also kept saying looking for evidence for either a criminal case or coronial case, emphasising criminal IMO.

Do you think that he is speaking about clothing? I can't imagine what other evidence could be left behind.

Yes, I got that, too. A criminal case is what he is going for. He knows.

Interesting, too, that the state planning board is involved. Why do we think that is? Info on drains, property boundaries, property ownership, fire trails, drainage ditches?

The waiting and not knowing must be torture for William’s families. Sending them love today and every day. Hopefully they will have answers and justice will be done for William soon.

You just gave me goosebumps SA!

Yes. Perhaps William also might have been running around with a toy?
