He holds grave, grave fears for William's demise .. said that several times .... but stops short of saying anything else. Just that he has told the families they will continue as if William could be alive. :(

Could it be LE got a call with someone (anonymous) telling, he just now would have brought little William back to where he had been taken from (Benaroon Dr.) ....?? LE not knowing yet whether WT might be alive or dead ...?
Yes: absurd, BUT ....

Toy found in bushland during William Tyrell evidence search
Toy found in William Tyrrell search, as police collect new bags of evidence

The ABC understands although it is too early to identify any link with the missing boy, the toy, along with other bags of evidence, had been collected in the first day of searching for new leads into the disappearance of the then tree-year-old, known as the boy in the Spiderman suit.
You would think that a toy would have been found during the first search.

I agree, with the word of a tip off I’m thinking possibly evidence they are searching for has perhaps been replaced there very recently, risky yes, but as I said earlier the perp was risky in the first place

It may mean that who ever drove or walked in did not do so via Benaroon Drive.
It may mean it was deliberate and planned. Not random.

That could explain why nobody appeared to hear or see anything at the time. Well, apart from William' mother later saying she noticed a couple of cars parked across the road.

The Daily Telegraph has a new article up saying that the police are using GPS to ensure they don't miss any spots.

It's good to see William's name in the news again. I was wondering about him just recently.

I wish that could be true, FG, but I don’t think so. If William is found close to Benaroon Drive, I fear he will be deceased.

September 2015 - article

Mr Hutchison, a retired builder who joined the State Emergency Service's Camden Haven unit three years ago, arrived in Kendall on the afternoon of September 12.
It was a few hours after three-year-old William Tyrrell disappeared from his grandmother's home, which fronts onto the Kendall State Forest.

He was fitted with a GPS tracker before he and his fellow volunteers ventured into the bush around Benaroon Drive so police could map out every inch of land covered.
Anything unusual, including pieces of cloth between foliage, were enough to grab attention and warrant sniffer dogs being brought in.
"Anything that is odd, you call it in straightaway and don't touch it," Mr Hutchison said.

So they have mapped the first search to some degree.

I guess we need to consider the magnitude of this search.

The resources that are being diverted from other areas for 3-4 weeks.
The number of things that won't be investigated elsewhere until those resources can return.
The huge budget that has been approved for this search. That approval would have needed to come from a very high authority, one would think.

I don't believe this is a frivolous search, done on a whim, or because it does not have a definite, very useful purpose. There is a specific aim in mind, and it is an important one. imo

I hope they put up a rerun. We got NOTHING here in SA. Just 'regular programming'.:mad::mad:

Ohhh .... Ch10 says they are going to show it 'live':rolleyes: here in a few minutes.
I'm getting GEO refusal and General Data Protection Regulation/EU refusal and so on .... Have to rely on my fellow members and their written word here on WS. :)

Awww, that's even worse FG. I just had to wait ½ an hour, and that seemed hard.

I hope you can get a peek at some video. Hopefully the British version of the Daily Mail will pick it up - maybe you can access that.

Maybe @richieswan can upload DCI Jubelin’s presser to youTube for us (if we ask nicely - pretty please with sugar on top. Oh and with a cherry.)

Out of all the images we've seen, to me, that is the most haunting of this whole case.
Fingers crossed they find what they're looking for.

PS. Not enjoying this new look website. What happened to the old one ?
What’s with the websleuths members birthdays being posted in side bar. Hope mine does not come up in a few days time, bit personal, can’t remember if I added my birthdate when joining but seems unnecessary

Has anything ever been mentioned about William having a toy with him when he disappeared? I can't recall anything. I'm thinking back to the interview with his FM. I'm sure she mentioned some of his toys but not that he had anything on him.

Edited to add: I do agree that the perp could've come back and placed something at the scene. Definitely not unheard of!
