The deputy coroner is expected to visit the site shortly.

Oh...... what does it mean for a deputy coroner to visit a search site?...... I don't want to jump the gun, but can we cautiously assume the site is something more?

I wonder if they have a tracker on someone's car.

Well, they have obviously found something. Why would he visit the site, otherwise?

Or someone's phone being bugged or tracked.

This might sound horrible, but a part of me doesn't want to know if all this is going to end in some dismal bushland.

I still hold out a possibility of someone deciding they can care for him better, for whatever reason.

No it does not sound horrible. I think we all hope for the same thing but sadly it’s seems unlikely

I would love to believe that, but I can't.

Yes, agree butterstick. It will bring closure, but it will be devastating for all who love him. The end of hope.

But the beginning of a real grieving process and knowing where he is.

800 square metres is a specifically small area.
A pin point in such a large area of thick bush.
Yes. They must have some specific info to narrow it down like that.

Is it accessible by car I wonder
I would say that there would be dirt tracks through there and if you were trying to hide something, you would walk into the bush off the track.
