I really think Jubes is going for a criminal conviction, more than an inquest.
I think he will 'settle' for an inquest, if he has to. If the Prosecutor still will not proceed after this massive search.

I’m looking at the similarities of the lead up to the arrest of Borce Ristevski where as we knew BR did it and we were intrigued when the cops were out thrashing the Merc and then miraculously BR was arrested. I don’t think everything hinged on the Merc being there but it was a loose end being tied. Similar to searching the surrounding bushland and making sure William isn’t there.

I’m kinda thinking they have someone in their sights and nearly ready for an arrest.

Just make sure those T’s are crossed as we don’t want a double jeopardy.

They are now called Private Forums. You can find them in an advanced search .... 'Search In Forums'.

Apologies for not replying earlier. I had to find them myself.

You need to be following a normal thread that also has a private thread, then you know the name of the thread to search for in the Private Forum advanced search.
William's case does not have a private thread.
I don't think any of the Aussie threads have a private thread.

Yes. I agree.
And when the police located every single Merc like Karen's to eliminate them and prove that it was definitely her Merc on the CCTV.

<modsnip: snipped social media and hearsay rumors>

Well, many of us have always suspected that the sighting of the cars was a means to gaining access to similar vehicles that the police wanted to search.

Which, to me, means that those persons with similar vehicles won't be the ones arrested for this crime. Because, if it was them, their defence lawyers would have a field day with subterfuge being used to gain access to their vehicles - if subterfuge, in fact, happened and could be proved.

If those vehicles were not there, then it seems as if the FM may have been assisting the police with the things that they have deemed necessary, to eliminate things/people from their investigation.

That could be true. It seemed convenient that two of the mystery cars belonged to either a POI or one of their relatives at the time of William’s disappearance. As we’ve seen, there is more than one way for SFR to gather information.

What to make of FM’s report of the green-grey car turning into (and then reversing out of) FGM’s neighbour’s driveway earlier that morning, while she was watching William and his sister ride their bikes on FGM’s driveway, I don’t know.

I have been reading about the legality of using a member of the public in a sting operation, if the cars can be considered that.
It seems that the police can enlist public members to assist. Not sure of all the circumstances this would be legally allowed in, but I am sure that the police would know or have found out.

But did you know that police also recruit members of the public to assist with sting operations – even with large-scale, international drug importation cases?
This might sound surprising given the obvious dangers involved – and, indeed, cases over the years illustrate the potential consequences of enlisting the help of civilians in stings.

In New South Wales, the use of civilians in such operations is covered by the Law Enforcement (Controlled Operations) Act 1997.

Under section 7 of that Act, civilians must not be authorised to participate in controlled operations unless the CEO of the Police Force or relevant body is satisfied that it is ‘wholly impractical’ for a law enforcement officer to participate in the operation, and that it is ‘wholly impracticable’ for the civilian participant to participate in the controlled operation without engaging in that activity.

Jubes has experience in these types of operations, eg; SF Tuno, resulting in the arrests and convictions of the notorious Perish brothers for their involvement in Terry Falconer’s murder. Interesting story. A book about the SF’s operations, ‘Bad’ written by Michael Duffy, was made into the Underbelly series ‘Badness’.

It was the aunt who went in wired twice to get the confession of the Anity Cobby murderer. I’m sure many a crim has got information and confessions including that Peter Foster and Chardon.

A lot of things about the foster mother that made people ~hinky~ about her around the time of the 60 Minutes interview could be explained by her doing things at the request of the police. What I wonder though, how does that kind of thing hold up in court? Is it okay for cops to use a ruse like that? I'm guessing it must be! Jubelin wouldn't make a noob error like that.

She said: “It was really odd because the whole time that mum and dad have lived at Kendall there has never ever been cars parked on that street, ever. It just didn’t make sense to me,” his mum said.

“And I kick myself, I kick myself in terms of why didn’t I note down the numberplates?

“But the logic part of me says, you know what, in Sydney, you’d write down a numberplate. In Kendall, there’s no reason to write down a numberplate. It is one of the safest towns in NSW.”

The two cars, which police say were kept secret for a year for “tactical reasons”, were parked across the road from William’s grandmother’s house on Benaroon Drive with their diver’s side windows down.

She said she noticed the cars while she was playing with William in the garden that morning and realised after he had vanished that they too were gone.

“I realised that night that William went missing that I had actually seen two cars,” she said.

“I raced down to the command van, because they’d set up a command centre in the backyard and I raced down there and said I’d remembered the two cars and I described the cars to them and all that sort of thing.

“Those cars were not here, they were not there when we were looking for him.”

She said she believed there was a reason the owners of the cars had not come forward and identified themselves to police.

“Either they’re involved, or they’ve seen what happened. And we just need them to come forward and say this is what we saw.,” she said.

I am re-watching the 60 minutes special that aired one year after William's disappearance.
William's FM called the washing repairman and left a message regarding requiring the status on the part for the machine.
Interviewer asks whether repairman might have had an indication that they/William were going to be there and she says "I don't know" in a way that shuts down the questioning. But she's nodding as she says it.

Imagine you are someone with an attraction toward minors. You may know one of your clients has young grandchildren (male AND FEMALE - because remember some of us are a bit unsure of this POI because he has a "type") then perhaps a person who is that way inclined might take a trip to the property just to watch the children?

I really believe LE and those who cared for William know who did it.

Its such an important piece of television because Gary Jubelin, the FP's and interviewer say so much.

I agree and jubes is ready to pounce. Time some get their affairs in order I’d say

As long as the behaviour fits into the law, it would likely be okay. Maybe part of the covert operations.
Covert ops were used to ensnare Brett Cowan.

Everything that Jubes does is to achieve the aim of finding William and bringing the perp to justice.

Yes, I don't know if they were or they weren't. I have always vascillated on that, and have no firm opinion.

I was just responding to a post that was then moderated out, and I started looking to see if a sting like that could be legal.

BS has been accused of providing children to other men in the past.

He has children doesn’t he?

Makes me wonder who his accusers are and how he had access!!!

MS apparently texted one of the accusers an “I can’t believe you did this” type of message. So obviously someone whose lives they are still involved in? And how she has proven herself as stand by your man type.

This database of information the police have must be incredible.
