Just some extra but same same
The reporter on The Project stated Any cars recent or from when he disappeared. She said no further info provided in regards to that. Also commented the search near FG is ruling out information whereas today’s is a search for evidence of (a crime - can’t type it, but you know)
So I think something specific shifted gears all of a sudden. Whether that is info provided by someone feeling the heat, someone recently seen or some type of testing has come back with pertinent info. Not sure if anyone else watch but it was just straight delivered info.

From what I've googled a High Risk person of interest isn't just some ordinary person but one who has been watched for quite awhile and reading about some gave me the chills.

Like a registered sex offender?

Absolutely.
Some women have cow pat for brains sometimes. I spoke to a woman with a black eye once. WTF leave! She told me she loved him.
I remember a newspaper story of a woman who, after her husband completed a jail term for sexually abusing her children, allowed him to move back in, meaning her children - his victims! - had to go into care. I will never understand!

High risk of reoffending maybe?

There were only a few articles about two different high risk persons of interest and they didn't mention anything sexual.

I think I've heard Jubelin use the expression before; it seems to be a synonym for suspect as opposed to POI in a more general sense.

BC is quoted telling the telegraph he has been out digging with a shovel looking for William.
out of his own mouth.

Is the search location near any of the "creepy houses" we looked at previously?

In forensic circles, “high risk” refers to an individual who has been assessed based on previous charges or convictions. An assessment is conducted which assesses this individual around their risk for reoffending. This risk level ranges from low - mod-low - mod-high - high. This risk level usually relates to risk of general offending or more specifically to sex offending. Therefore, technically a person can only be given a risk level when they have a criminal history which can include charges and/or convictions.

That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out.

I think one of them was at the corner of Stoney Creek Road, but that's almost a kilometre from Cedar Loggers Lane.

It’s sad what the Kendall townsfolk are going through but it’s been done and please understand there’s a little boy that needs to be found now.

"I had a woman get off the bus one day and she said, 'Is this Kendall, where all the paedophiles live?' That made me very sad."

She believed the town had been misrepresented by a "fly-in fly-out" media pack

"It is very disappointing that there have been unnecessary negative reports about the town," Mr Bignell said.

"It is a town that has been the location of one very sad case of a child that has disappeared and as yet has not yet been located."

How a country town struggles to live with an unsolved crime

Yes, I vaguely remember the intersections of The Old Coach Road and Stoney Creek Road with Batar Creek Road but not Cedar Logger’s Lane.

I think one of our WSers did a recce around that area.

Interesting how the reports mention someone who lives nearby.

When I first googled the new search area I thought it had to be a local person to choose that spot.

  • #1,458
I think BC has said he has been digging as away to say I care and I’m trying to find my son. I don’t think he meant it literally

According to a local he has been seen in the area the past few weeks literally digging and looking

There is a little track leading off into the bush at the corner of Bartar Creek Road & Cedar Loggers.

Google instant maps.

Yeah great! I can’t download anything, they’re all too big.

William Tyrrell: Police say they're concentrating their search on bushland near the corner of Cedar Loggers Lane & Batar Creek Road in Batar Creek. This area is located 4km from where William was last seen alive. Police say the site is "outside the forensic search area. #7News
I've been watching this today Morrisa... it seems SFR 'discovered' information that has led them to this new search area. And GJ has asked for anyone who saw a car in that area at time of William's disappearance, OR Recently, to come forward.
