New Developments In The Search For William Tyrrell

Interesting comments on Ten eyewitness news from last night -
“The actions of a high-risk person of interest is what led them to this specific location”

“Because of what they are finding & how difficult it is to move in the bush, what was meant to be a two day search, will now stretch into a third day tomorrow”

It’s so sad to watch the officers digging in the mud with cadaver dogs at their side :(

'Someone who knows who is responsible is connected to the Kendall area,' a police source said, Daily Telegraph reported.
On Thursday the search sporadically halted as detectives and cadaver dogs took a closer look at areas of interest within the muddy bushland.

So, they don't think the actual perp is from the Kendall area - but they believe someone who knows is.

What is the Kendall area? Just the town itself or does it include the surrounding areas like Batar Creek? Or does it refer to the wider Camden Haven area (including Laurieton)?

'It's fairly dense rugged bushland. If you were looking to take something in there you would have had to know what the area was like,' he said.

But if you didn't know, that wouldn't stop you from going in if you were in a rush.

A report has just come out via The Daily telegraph but it is paywalled with direct quotes from GJ. Hopefully another msm source will pick it up.

William Tyrrell search police discover fresh information while searching secluded rural spot

POLICE have discovered fresh information in the case of missing boy William Tyrrell while searching a secluded rural intersection on the Mid-North Coast.

The search of a 800sq m section of undergrowth concluded this morning, with lead investigator Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin announcing fresh information has been found.

“Evidence of William being in this location has not been found but investigators have gained information from the search,” Insp Jubelin said.

The search relates to a “high risk” person of interest in the case.

“There is a person out there who knows why we are searching this area, this person will no doubt be feeling pressure from the intensity of the investigation,” Insp Jubelin said.

Struggling to think of what information they could of found if no evidence of WT

I mean, the flip side of someone feeling pressured is someone feeling relaxed knowing they're on the wrong trail.

Yes you're right. Even if the location wasn't a success, the police presence might of brought out some local support.

Police are concluding their concentrated search for William Tyrrell in the leech-infested vicinity of Batar Creek.

While no evidence was discovered at the location of interest near Port Macquarie, New South Wales, detectives have reportedly uncovered information that will help them in their investigation.

Police say there is someone who knows why they are searching in that specific area -and insist that one of the 833 people living in the town of Kendall, where William disappeared, knows what happened to the boy.

So if the police didn’t find anything related to William in the area, does that mean someone likely removed some evidence?

Hometown? Would you refer to Kendall as his hometown? I wouldn't.
