It’s literally a slow news day. Logies, special interest. Why on earth aren’t they trying to make a story out of the searches? Especially if they’ve sent the best reporters out. This is exactly the type of story you’d imagine media would be milking

Maybe there's simply no news... ?? unfortunately

I guess... Probably wishful thinking on my part but I would have thought if they were using media to apply pressure, they might still be doing that. I wake up every day and hope they’ve got what they wanted.

Uh-uh. Murderers and witnesses move around. Is what I think.

Edit: also, if it comes to a trial and they don't have a body, they will need to have done everything possible to prove that William isn't alive somewhere. Compare the information they had to gather in respect of Tegan Lane.

I should’ve looked at the opposite to the obvious.

the facts are the facts and alibis are alibis and all needed to validate this is receipts or bank statements and SOMEONE.... ANYONE INCLUDING WIVES to confirm you are where you say you are.
that's it.
if someone supports your alibi doesn't matter a hoot who it is police can not dispel without proof.... it stands legit.

if MS stands by her statement and they can provide bank statements to prove the coffeeshop date then its a non event. BS has a supported alibi.

I think other witnesses' at the coffee shop may prove more reliable. We have heard nothing of "Polygraph testing" - nor should we. But they are common place - FBI (quantico), Homeland security, CIA... & just about every police force around the world, uses them. Not kidding. I don't think this info would be available to us. If MS was alone at the coffee shop, I think team Rosann would know it. Australia is not behind the rest of the world - police don't go on spouse's alibi alone. There needs to be more concrete evidence, such as other witnesses.

I think you will find it stands legally.
it is up to police to discredit alibi if you have provided proof.
and nobody has said they were not there simply no one can remember specifics.

Wouldn't that just be so wonderful, TGY?

It would be straight out of a Disney movie where the yummy handsome prince saves a darling little boy from the clutches of the wicked step sisters and they live happily ever after.

Happily after many years of intense psychotherapy.

Maybe no news is good news.

IIRC ol’ m8 Col said he had the receipt from the coffee shop. They used a card.
I know there’s the link somewhere.

Yes true, it's up to police. But if no-one can remember then it's all the better to polygraph. But police will not, and never will, go on a spouse's alibi alone... too close. That's CSI 101 stuff. I'm not saying he wasn't there. I actually hope he was. But i'm sure there was a polygraph - it's standard practice all over, these days. To not do one is "archacic" - esp in such a high profile case. We have some great testers here in Oz trained at Quantico. I'm sure they know what they are doing & i'm sure they were sought. If they weren't i'd eat my hat - even bo's tin foil one - eek lol

I am just having a little difficulty understanding why Col had to download that bank statement and place it in BS's hot little hand, some four months later.

This morning while driving through the wentworthville area, I saw a large billboard sign for William, the first one I have ever seen!
The pressure is on!
What do you see: William pictured as a 3 year-old or in addition as progressed in age?

Maybe because in the January it was the 1st time BS understood his alibi or statement he initially gave was in question, when his house and business premises were raided. MOO

Indeed there is tgy.

Yep they have proof he was at the Buzz sipping coffee and paid by card. Because Col downloaded the receipt and placed it in BS's hot little hand.
LE were not aware of this detail before they questioned BS.

Maybe, so I wonder if he did say he was at Dunbogan in the morning and those people did not recall seeing him until the afternoon, about 2pm?
imo

Well why not SoSo? What if BS is not as computer savvy as Col? My parents won't use online banking (these poor folks).. I had to sign them up myself, and still they go into the bank for transfers... beats me. I think Col was just doing a favour. The question is, for me, how much $ was on that statement? Enough for one or two? MS would have to be worried if there isn't enough for two... or if she was seen alone?

Maybe, BS had no allowed access to his devices at that time?
I don't think, CY was a "personal secretary" of BS (although I had thought it until just now, making fun of it).

Good thinking FG, wasn't BS computer confiscated by police at the time in the search?

Is BS being described as "man" in old articles now? If so, there might be suppressed court hearings underway in Vic? Is there ever suppression on civil cases?
