You have your opinion and I have mine , slip of the finger to delete a call, can’t buy that. I go off what info we have that’s been reported not a gut feeling of someone having common sense or what you may do.

To keep phone numbers in a business phone is gold.
Why would you delete them?
FGM’s home & maybe mobile, FM mobile. Wouldn’t you keep them not only for future contacts but to return calls on the road if necessary.

'He' may not have deleted the call log!
Exactly. That he had done so was only reported in MSM because a friend of BS's had told them so, which is hearsay, since CY really can't speak for BS, doesn't know exactly what BS did, and may have got his info/facts messed up. But whether he did or didn't... so what? There could be a perfectly innocent, meaninglessn (in regard to this case) explanation.

But your believing other things said by CY?

From memory the 1st assembly at 10.30 was for the younger kids and 2nd one at 11.30 for junior age so it depends on age of whs grandchild.
We were speaking of a start time of 12 or it might have been 12:30. I believe one of the children was to receive an award so perhaps the general business began at 11:30 and the awards part began at 12.

  • #465
but why would anyone do that?
its a big ask.
especially your wife......yeah sure honey.....off you go and murder a little boy ill cover for ya!!!
and ok lets say she isnt in the loop enough to know what hes up to but enough in the loop to cover his arse??….
it just doesn't ring normal or true.
that's pattern behaviour and other suspicious activities would have come out of the woodwork by now if it was there.
she is faithfully behind her husband. because she believes in him. and it could actually be because she was with him at that moment in time.
imo
Is it possible that BS decided last minute to attend this event with his wife, since he had apparently been unable to get in contact with FGM to make arrangements to fix the washer, and therefore, suddenly, he had an open slot of time?
I guess we’ll find out. In due course.

Yes possible, but does this make him more or less suspect? Or neither? Just curious

I don’t believe BS is an innocent man, if by some chance he actually had nothing to do with William, I still think those historic charges/ accusations had some truth to them - but regarding the phone logs, my Father deletes his call logs & even messages routinely, he believes it slows his phone down, maybe BS has the same suspicion - but like it has been mentioned, a deleted call log, the vague memory of a cafe staff & lack of appearance ( so it would seem) in school assembly photos are not enough to have your place of residence & business so very public searched IMO

It seems in my opinion that police did not raid BS home, office and property at Wellington based on only the detailed alibi Colin voiced to the media.
With or without the downloaded bank statement.
So what on earth would have been compelling enough to see warrants granted for those searches?
Been thinking this all along... what exactly?

Historical Child Sexual Assault allegations. IMO

Didnt colin tell media to look at someone who had made vexatious complaints against whs for years.

I also note that in 2015 colin said he had known whs for 3 decades that goes back to the sexual assault allegations re whs and the little girls doesnt it? I wonder how these 2 met.

It would also be interestjng to know what radio station whs tuned into and if he listened to radio no rmally in vehicles. It was saturated about Williams disappearance and I find it hard to believe he would not have heard the news prior to his 2nd phone call at around 2pm to fgm house when he spoke with fm on day William was abducted. Fm had said that detail in interview.

One if the media links said whs was pleased he couldnt get hold of fgm due to him not wanting to go to her place on weekend due to sport events he wanted to go to with grandkids.
I remember! Searched for a link before, but unsuccessful. Thank you! :) I wanted to tell this little detail (don't know for what purpose exactly).

Those newsletters look to have been sent home with time for parents to slot it into their diary if they wanted to attend. Many would have to work around their employment commitments, I guess.
Are parents warmly invited to attended both the end of term whole assembly when medallions are awarded, as well as the regular alternate Friday ones at 10;30?

I think they are. The October newsletter welcomes parents to attend.

And for the record I haven’t seen BS being referred to by name in an article recently . This could mean one of a few things I guess.
His name wasn't mentioned, but: "washing machine repair man" (or similar).

From your link:

End of Term Whole School Assembly
An End-of-Term assembly (K-6) is held in the school hall at the end of terms 1 to 3. Children receive special
Responsibility and Respect citizenship medallions and some classes perform items of entertainment. These

assemblies usually commence at 12.00 pm and end at 1:00 pm. Parents are warmly invited to attend.

Could it have been an end-of-term assembly?

It would be easier to miss noticing an attendee at a whole school rather than a half school assembly.

From what I could see the end of term, was on Wednesday the following week.
