how do i search for post 642? :O

this is the basic area i'm referring to - in red. William's street is in the top right hand corner - we might have diff areas in mind?

located it on Sixmaps and it might well be a car in my opinion. It's just beside the track that loops up off McCollums Road. I'm not sure it's blue though--that's probably sky reflection. Also, if the police were searching the triangular lot as we thought, it's not in the middle of the area police were searching. About 600m away.

I think i'm in a different are to you JLZ... this is within kendal state forest, not over at Middle Borther where McCollums is?

The area i saw was more like caravans & tarps - long term stuff. cars etc. A long term humpy, well established, messy

Definitely a different area. I went by Papertrail's large scale image which showed the north-west end of Middle Brother Forest, then zoomed in on Sixmaps and found the shape his small-scale image showed. (Or her.)

Did you do any driving in Middle Brother Forest?

OK. Yer different. I did go into middle brother - basically drove up stoney creek rd, & then found my way down to Mudfords lane, via McCollums creek & a few other trails. Didn't check out the picnic area at Bird trail unfortunately...

Maybe you should alert crimestoppers, in case they overlooked it. Or Jubelin. Could be the missing piece of the puzzle.

I’m sure Jubes and SFR would appreciate the tip. After all, they have been doing a forensic search in terrible weather and dense bushland for nearly a month. Just think how much more time and manpower it would save if something they have overlooked is right under their noses in a well-maintained front garden.

Why I am asking about six maps date of aerial photograph capture. have a look at the attached. There is something in the middle of the area the police were searching. looks bluish in colour - may be a vehicle as there is no house or building in that area is there?

From the rectangular shape and being near a clearing, it might be the corrugated iron shelter of a picnic table.

if the poi mentioned is bs, what was his role if hes still only a poi and not a suspect?

I wonder whether a "suspect" is a "POI" who has been cautioned. Apparently if someone has been interviewed without being cautioned when it would have been unreasonable not to suspect him, the record of interview is inadmissible as evidence.
