ADMIN NOTE:

No sleuthing or posting about individuals who are not a POI in this case (as per LE or MSM). IOW, the bus driver who was charged and acquitted of the two murders is off-limits.

Am I alone in wishing the whole street opened their doors for the police.

In terms of how to technically pull this off, living close by is such an advantage.

Then again, jumping in a car would be similar.
I think the whole street did open their doors to LE, AFAIK? If, out of the 21 residences, there was one or two that wouldn't allow it, that sure would have raised red flags.... I wonder though, if that would have been enough for LE to have obtained search warrants in that case?

In regard to the post being replied to, what is 'CHR'?

In BC's own (quoted) words, he seems to indicate that he meant literally:

"The missing boy’s father Brendan Collins gave a powerful message to his son when he spoke to The Daily Telegraphtoday.

“I’ve been out looking for you with a shovel digging in bushland … I know there’s no point,” he told the newspaper."

Toy found in search for William

If BC was digging, who is to automatically assume that it is because he had a hand in WT's demise, rather than that he may be actually trying to find his own son? For what purpose would he kill his own child, one of four? Doesn't make sense, and not sure if his history of being a criminal in and out of jail and involved in drugs taints peoples' perspectives on him to think that therefore he must also be capable of doing something like this? Note: Not referring to you butterstick.

CHR are the initials of the original poster to which I was replying.
Who is assuming BC 'had a hand in WT's demise'?
He has been cleared and it is against WS T&C's to infer otherwise

This is the scenario all of us here on Williams thread need to prepare for Violet. If that is the outcome we need to count on each other for support as it will be devastating and the pain will be far reaching. For some of us our vestment in WS is not shared with family members and we will be left to deal with the grief we feel from the possibility of William passing on our own. I for one am standing up now to offer support to any of our members who may need it if they find themselves plummeting into despair after the discovery of our little guys remains. Together we are stronger

BBM.

That’s such a kind offer, C&L. Thank you on behalf of everyone who cares for William.

I don't believe for a second BF would hurt William intentionally.
the drug problems he clearly has does however make him a loose cannon and unpredictable.
and I am certain would be note worthy to law enforcement.

there is a lot of babble from the bios this last year.
and he did state to the DT that he was out digging looking for him immediately before the search started.

I am worried for him.
he is obviously in a very dark place.

Very much agreed C&L, & thank you for your offer of support for all members. It will be a terribly sad day for all, I hope William’s bio family (excluding NC) also have a support network around them.

ETA - I obviously hope very much that William’s ff also have support. No matter the biological connection, the ff are his family.

I’ve just been thinking about an inquest being held in relation to William’s suspicious disappearance. If one is held prematurely, it doesn’t necessarily mean that William’s remains will be brought home if he is deceased. It doesn’t necessarily mean that a prime suspect will be identified. It doesn’t necessarily mean his case will be referred to the DPP for charges to be laid. It could just as easily result in the inquest being suspended with no charges laid, or an open finding, with William’s case referred to the Unsolved Homicide Squad and remaining idle. Which makes me wonder just what those who think an inquest is ‘paramount’ are trying to achieve.

ETA:

Missing persons

if they had probable cause they probably could - or is that just in America? thing is we don't know if they did search anyone's place that refused :(

TRN? I don’t know what that abbreviation signifies.

I mean anyone who wants an inquest held before both the State Coroner and DCI Jubelin are satisfied with the investigation into William’s suspicious disappearance.

That was meant to be abbreviated team Rosann :)

No not Strike Force Rosann. When I say DCI Jubelin I include the team members of SFR as a matter of course.

I soughta thought Jubelin wasn't against an Inquest - but he'd be continuing to investigate until then & hasn't run out of leads. Like a race against the clock. Did you get the impression he wasn't interested? maybe not yet... but if nothing comes forward?

I don’t think DCI Jubelin’s against an inquest. In fact, I think he’ll welcome one — if or when the time is right.

He would like to exhaust all avenues I'm sure... I hope they have something. If it goes to inquest i think he'd be happy too, but wouldn't it be nice if no inquest were needed... would love jubes & team to crack this case & show the nay-sayers :D

I wasn't implying that and have clarified it in the post just after it. <modsnip: no personalizing> I have also said in one of my post, may be plan was to bring little guy back to BP but plan didn't go as expected. Hi OFCOURSE a father won't do such thing and BF seems a decent person.

You don't have talk in codes (initials) either. Just say the full thing, I don't mind.

Coincidencehasreason I'm not sure if you are talking to me or Deugirtni. I certainly wasn't saying you were implying that if you read my post. I agreed with your viewpoint actually. I was asking deugirtni who he/she was talking about.... that's why there is a question mark. <modsnip>
