Maybe they are fearful of being accused of slander K-Mac. I personally wouldn't go on national TV and share my opinion of some 'shonky kettle of fish' if i wasn't directly affected. But you would think the social media sites where anything goes would be full of rumours and accusations. You're right there seems to be a unnatural silence from locals and extended families.

No of course we don't know that, but if the property or nearby had something to do with William's disappearance, it might have been used because someone was familiar with it through the scouts. People disposing of bodies like places they're familiar with or have a link to somehow.

Unfortunately the search function on WS sucks, for me anyway.. I can never find a thing by using it. I did have a look back, but basically, having to look at every page, so.. with this many threads, I just don't have time to do that.. but thought that someone else would surely also remember this.
I think I'm maybe remembering. A large property, open fields, and a dam or similar. And it was north of Benaroon Drive.

Do you think you're remembering the same one as me (#196)? I remember people talking about it and I tried to locate it just by scanning Google Maps of the local area for the street name. I couldn't find it, I had to search for the street name and it was further out than I'd expected.
