What excuses has he offered? An alibi, like everyone else questioned in the case I imagine? A defence in a trial? Or would you like to be saved from other members exploring any other possibilities in aspects of the case related to him? I don't know BS from a bar of soap. I have followed WT's case from day one through the media. When they 1st splashed BS van passing a police search site on the front page of the paper, and all but calling him the suspect without charging him was the day I went looking for a forum that is seriously discussing this case. I also called the paper registering my anger with the editor, who said they had received many calls sharing the exact same sentiment, that the paper was subverting natural justice for the man. So from my own experience it did not pass with a mere raising of the eye brow, but a real concern for civil rights in this country. MOO

Now I would like to have a list of persons, who called the paper, with gender and age, please. ;)
Maybe, BS' friends who were not his friends but only distant acquaintances, have been the first callers?

I still find that very interesting - him at the police site. I often wonder why he was there. Certainly didn't do him any favours, though.

He wasn't at the sight. He drove past it. Heuston Mitchell Drive is the main road from Bonny Hills to other parts of the region. He lived a couple of blocks off the end of the road. It was a set up photo opportunity for the paper. I'm surprised you might not have known that given that you found it very interesting. MOO

LOL. Funny, yes load me up with unreasonable requests, please, would you like links as well. I know that at the time I was of a mature age, near my prime and female.

Oh sorry, I thought you said^^^^^^^ 'When they 1st splashed BS van passing a police search site'

And you do know what they say about sarcasm? Doesn't bother me though, I learnt long ago that it's impossible to know everything.

I don't understand who you are referring to with the underlined part of the sentence. Would you explain that please? Maybe I am paranoid, but are you saying that only people who were his friends would have taken exception to that article and inferring, that they are the only people who would contact the paper about their reporting? Cause if that is what you are inferring, it is a kind of stifling of other points of view, that if you explore other ideas then you are a POI sympathiser. That seems like a form of bullying to me. It was the Daily Mirror by the way, I don't know why I even had an expectation that they would behave decently.

Many more than her spring to my mind.
I’d be really curious to know who else (you think), Froggy. I’m sure there are, btw, just wondering which ones spring to mind first.

Set up?
Is that the only route BS could have taken .. really?

That they do, froggy. That they do. We can all still wonder though, and speculate.

Set up photo opportunity
Google Maps
Here is a map of the area. It seems the most direct route. Why should he go any other way? Which ways do you think he should have taken instead?

Also, how could it be a set up unless they knew he was going to be there? And what was the timeline, do you know, soso? Was the photo taken, as opposed to published, before or after he was named a POI?

Don't know. Don't care.
But if you made the choice to go that way, no point whinging about it after.
I am sure that photo was taken after he named himself as a person of interest.
In fact as I recall he said it was OUR turn to be investigated in his only interview.

“They’re following up each and every lead they have and it was our turn to be that lead to be investigated”

Geez . . . BS is the most-unlucky-washing-machine-repairman-turned-handyman-in-the-world isn’t he? Set-up photo opportunity, targeted by in-laws, an obsessive, bizarre witness and two misguided victims of CSA; and MSM, not to mention by that big old pussycat Jubes as a POI in William’s suspicious disappearance and by CA&SC Squad and Sano Task Force detectives for historical CSA charges. What next?

(I will try and find the link)
Strange, so you ask the question, and when a reasonable answer is given and I ask you a question, you bat it away, and say you don't know nor care and it's still his fault. If you didn't care, why did you ask the question in the 1st place? Interesting.

Could we dare to speculate perhaps an arrest?

I guess I see it more simplistically than that. Maximum pressure brought to bear on a police suspect using all their resources to make it stick and get an arrest. As the member on here Ralph Mouth used to type, Jubelin shook the tree and nothing fell out.MOO
